Well polished and fun game, actually would hope you expand upon this.

Limitation and theme are well executed and I haven't really seen a game do this before. I just found the ammo system confusing (ammo / max ammo kept changing to other values).

Tense to manage your limited supply of dice with everything you need to do. Really nice!

Developer

Thanks! A few people have mentioned about the ammo being confusing - I'll definitely work on better communicating mechanics to the player in future projects.

Really happy you had a good time with it!

This game is really great! In just a short period of time, you manage to create a game with great mechanics, arts, and sounds. Hands down to the creator! Keep it up!

Developer

Thanks so much, glad you liked it!

Damn, what an excellent use of the limitation! This is a really cool feature to drag and drop the dice numbers to the required number the player wants to increase! I am not much a fan of horror games, so I have been refraining a bit from testing games in this jam [cz the first few I played did scare me lol], but I am glad I played a good game like this, that uses the theme dread, but also does not have any creepiness in it, and is instead a very fun and new type of game!

This game is great! I really liked how this used the limitation. The main mechanic just felt really fun! I can definitely see myself playing this again after the jam, so really great job!

Developer

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it

Wow, this is an awesome game! Really great use of the mechanic and love seeing a slightly meta game like this. Looks and sounds great and had a good challenge to it. Nice job!

Developer

Cheers! Glad you liked the game

this really was the best i’ve seen so far in this jam, amazing job! i didn’t really understand what the panic level told me though :D i reduced it and the next round reset it to 6 again. i also loved the art style and sounds. everything was really well done.

Developer

Thank you so much - absolutely delighted to receive such lovely feedback!

Panic would definitely have benefitted from a proper explanation in game - it sets to six at the start of each turn so that the player always moves unless you spend dice to stay still (or are blocked by an enemy). I'd hoped to have time to provide a tutorial to explain panic and the ammo system, but sadly didn't get the chance to implement it before the end of the jam

Cheers again!

Had an absolute blast with this! Easy enough to understand with a surprising amount of depth to the strategy. I did find that standing still / buffing health is a bit overpowered as it essentially enables a free reroll, but still had a great time nonetheless. I played this longer than I care to admit!

Developer

Thanks for playing! I tended to find myself using the same strategy when I was playtesting, and totally agree it could use a little balancing to give an incentive to use dice elsewhere, but delighted that you had a good time regardless!

This is brilliant!

I loved every second while playing. The concept is amazing and really easy to pick up, the artstyle just looks great and the music really sets the atmosphere. I honestly wouldn't be able to tell you anything negative about it, only that I would love to see more.

Thanks so much - really glad you liked the game!

This is really excellent. I think this is about a perfect distillation of this jam's theme/limitation. The graphics are great and the music and sound are fitting. Nice job!

Pretty fun, unfortunate you ran out of time to add a tutorial since it would help to know what things do at the start.  Really cool and fun overall!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback - the tutorial was next on the to-do list - a little more coffee and a little less sleep and I might have got there! Delighted you enjoyed it

Wow plays really good, took me a while to figure out silly me lol.

Developer

Thanks for sticking around long enough to figure it out, really glad you enjoyed it! I wanted to add a tutorial to help explain the mechanics, but sadly ran out of time before I was able to
