Interesting idea to use dice rolling like that and combine it with bullet hell / avoidance dungeon crawler.
Also really like the style of the game, simple but looks great. I think you could expand on this easily!

Use of the limitation
Instead of a health system, this game uses dice. When you enter new rooms, all dice that aren't 6 are rolled randomly. Advancing to a new level rolls all dice (even sixes). When you get attacked by an enemy, all dice less than 6 are flipped to a face that is one higher. Once all three are 6, the game ends.

How was your experience with Mini Jam?
It was fun! I think examples of game ideas for the limitation would be helpful (maybe 1 good, 1 okay, and 1 bad, or something like that).

i really like the low chances of rolling 6es (i think? maybe i just had a ton of luck :D), and the numbers increasing when you get hit. cool use of the dice limitation! also great artwork and interesting enemies.
Great game! Really liked the range of enemy designs and behaviours, the clean visual style works perfectly, and the procedural generation of levels worked really well. Would love to see more!
Absolute joy to run through with the different enemies and their increasing number and speed. Simple random levels with interesting enemies and the meaningful bonus of a map you could find. Actually fun to play and a personal favorite!
I do think that, because it eventually gets to a point where you cannot avoid damage (like, level 15 enemies and higher sometimes seem like inevitable damage), having an end goal or boss or something MIGHT be cool... but then again random dice rolls make every situation a possible win and race against your luck.
It was very fun, and really liked your dice mechanic in here. I would go for a full game with this idea if i were you. Lots of potential here.
Really awesome game! Swapping out the usual health bar / points for a penalty is a really good use of the limitation! The randomness really works both in and against your favour and it adds so much to the fun. This games all chill until you have 2 out of 3 dices with 6's tho lol.
I also love the cute simplistic art style. It just really works. All the levels are also nicely designed, and I had fun exploring all of them.
Love the simplicity of the game. Well done with the map, that's really cool. But especially early in level is no hard at all. You get around 9 free hits in each room and with 1,2 or 3 enemies it's no hard. But I enjoyed it. Well done!
I'm impressed with the how simple yet evocative the aesthetic is here and this is an interesting concept and implementation of the theme -- dreading that last fateful die roll. Nicely done!
Really good use of the dice as health. When I read "if I roll three 6's you die" I was almost out of it, but decided to try anyway. Glad I did, because it's an interesting take.
You basically roll for the number of times you can be hit in a room, which makes for a playstyle where you get to damage boost often because next room you "heal" anyway.
A really nice game !! At first I didn't fully understood the dice mechanic but once I understood I had a lot of fun, this is a great game !
Pretty neat use of the limitation! I might even say that the game would benefit from not having the dice roll in the player's favor, as it is a lot of hits you can take in any given room otherwise. Well done!
Thanks for your feedback! Yeah, it was a little tricky to decide on how to balance that, maybe I could have had it so that you can never roll a six upon entering a room and then gave all the other faces the same weight. When I was playtesting, I actually got 6s quite frequently just from entering rooms, which felt a little too unfair haha!
