How is your game related to the Theme and Special Object?
I took a broader approach to the 'reverse' theme to include the opposite of what you would expect to happen. Your little trebuchet has to catch the enemies' boulders rather than try and destroy them. Flags periodically spawn limiting how far back you can move.

Very fun and well made game! It's a good use of the theme and the pixel art looks nice! I got a score of 1600

Love the art style and sounds used- It reminds me of old gameboy color games.

The controls felt very responsive - I could quickly respond and precisely adjust my position when attempting to make a catch. The boulder catching was initially odd for the first attempts, as I wasn't certain whether I had to catch it with the end of the trebuchet.

A larger field of view might have helped in some scenarios. There were times where the boulder was thrown out of view, either off the top of the screen or out of your field of view side after you've caught the aforementioned highly thrown boulder boulder.  This could result in getting struck from the boulder and occasionally felt like a cheap loss.

I did initially think that the caught boulders could be returned back to earn more points. Gradually adding more enemy trebuchets, in addition to being able to return fire could a potential mechanic to add further variance.

A short and simple game with retro-inspired graphics.

Great game and very polished! Loved the art and music too!. If i had to come with some feedback, i think that the large flag pop up gets a little annoying, and caused a few deaths for me. It would often, when i got far, impair my vision so i would get hit because i couldn't see the curve of the boulder. Maybe making it a bit smaller or placing it in a corner would help. Good stuff, keep it coming!

Neat!  I now know I am really bad at catching boulders with a trebuchet.  Text is a little hard to read, but great job!

Thanks! As far as I know, I can't change how the text is rendered using pico-8, so I think thats a limitation of the engine I used.

Good take. Charming graphics and gameplay feels good. It's satisfying when the trebuchet rocks back after catching a boulder.

I really like the style, but it took me forever to figure out what buttons it was trying to get me to push! Looks nice though.

I tried to write a blurb about using the Z key on the keyboard when 'O' is on screen! Pico-8 does that for some reason...

Thank you!! First game I've ever actually finished.
