Woops! Thanks for telling me. Fixed it 😁

Thank you!

Hey, thanks for playing. I'd like to come back to this one at some point and flesh it out some more with more levels :D

Trying for the coins tested my zen but it's good! Everything feels solid. Movement, visuals, sound effects, puzzle design, game length. I like how the environment-specific creatures put a twist on the mechanics. Great job!

Ohhhhhh I'm noob! I really like this. You accomplish a lot with simple mechanics. Great job!

You comment is magnificent. Thank you!

Thank you for taking the time to play! You're right about the level ordering for sure. I'm glad you liked the art because I am so not an artist but I try 😅

Hey thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed it 🙏

There's still something wonky going on with the platforming physics but the dimension switching is really awesome. Would love to play this with improved controls. Great submission!

It's kinda zen until your favorite planet is pulverized by an asteroid. Great job nonetheless!

Me too!

Nice polished experience. Good music (Nice job "Kevin"). I like how you communicated what the controls are. Pretty good puzzle design. Not sure if you realized but I think some of the puzzles are "broken" because you can jump infinitely high by leaving a shadow at your peak height each time and just repeating that. Very good job on everything though. I really like it!

A tragic tale of unbridled ambition 😢. I like the clean looking aesthetic. The story is engaging and well scoped for a jam title. Music is fitting. Nicely done!

Nicely polished with well designed puzzles. The time loop mechanic with the jumping is pretty interesting. Nice music and sounds. Great submission!

Couldn't help but notice chopping the tree requires exactly 5 shift presses. Is that a troll for people who have sticky keys enabled on windows? Anyway, the ending sounds like a suicide note so that's depressing 😂

Pretty rough, but it works kinda! Good job on finishing!

Took me awhile to figure out what to do. Not sure where the game part of it is but it's an interesting little thing. Did you do all the modelling?

A bit short on gameplay mechanics but it's kinda zen I guess. Nice presentation and sound. The submarine is admittedly cute. Nice job 😁

I had a heck of a time getting into the game because the UI didn't register mouse clicks, arrow keys, or the enter key. Finally figured it out randomly trying things. The collision detection is very sticky. The first time I entered combat, I thought it was a shop so could maybe use some better user feedback. Maybe it was over-scoped on features? Looks like a lot of work went into it and it's a great start. Kudos for submitting!

Sorry about that! Thanks for playing anyway and for the feedback 🙏

Hey, thanks for the feedback. I agree about the timer. It was meant to add some excitement but I regret including it 😅

Well scoped, nice little story, pleasing sounds, clean gameplay, intuitive controls, good use of themes, love the title. Great job!

Nice little narrative adventure. I would've liked a bit more indication on which direction to go but then again it caused me to get lost which fits the theme lol. Anyway, nice job!

Nice! Thank you!

This is the best use of the limitation I've seen so far and probably my favorite of the jam. And the gameplay is addicting! Very nicely done!

Scoring is kind of a mess. Didn't have time to flesh it out. Your final score is the highest number you were able to get the timer up to. Finding the blips faster puts more time on the timer.

(1 edit)

The other upgrades are meant to be accumulative. They last a lot longer and basically eliminate areas that you no longer have to search with the reticule which saves you time and increases score. But I agree with your point. They're mostly useless as they are. Thanks for playing :D

Yeah, wish I had gotten around to adding music. Thanks for playing my silent game!

I'm not sure. Maybe a light glowy outline would be enough? 🤷‍♂️

Really great use of time mechanics. Had a blast discovering how it works. By the end I had a real army of ancient spirits guiding me 😅

Great character movement and presentation. Cool concept. Great job! Never did find out what the stars and spears(?) do for you though.

Nice game. Would be nice if the enemy/background contrast was more pronounced and maybe some more obvious feedback about what the different colored pickups are doing for you. Very intuitive though and you can jump right in and go. I like it.

Good music, sounds, and art. The movement is a bit wonky but bad enough to stop me from escaping. Well done :D

Thanks for taking the time to play! Not a bad score. Mine's 160-ish I think ^_^

Nice presentation. Very clean. I like the ambient music. Chill but intense. Well done!

Nice story and presentation. I like the art. Well done!

Fun concept! I think I broke a few levels though because you can jump infinitely high if you rapidly click under yourself while jumping. Doesn't even use up that much time :D

Post your high scores!

Thanks so much for checking it out! I was worried it wasn't intuitive enough and I didn't have time to provide better indicators 😅
