the game is so fun

Great! Very neat implementation of the loop theme. I liked going in blind and gradually figuring out the mechanics and upgrades. Only thing I missed (as other commenters also expressed) was some sort of goal to keep me going after becoming fully powered-up.

Out of the ones I've played so far (only five or so admittedly) this has been my favorite thus far. I really like the idea of buying upgrades to make yourself better and better on future loops.
Wish there was some sort of end state, but hey, it's a jam game so I get it.

Thank you for playing and for commenting! I thought a lot about an end state, but I couldn't think of one that is not "get a certain amount of money" or I had the time to do.

What about a particularly rare ore, or exit that won't spawn within a certain radius of spawn?

Developer(+1)

I didn't want to make something that spawns randomly to end the game, though making the game border as the end which you could only reach if you had the needed upgrades would have been a good idea.

I think that could have been neat, after getting all the upgrades I definitely tried to see about reaching the edge of the map. lol

Also I want to say that you saying that this game is your favorite even if it was only for the ones you have played at the time of writing this comment means a lot to me. Thank you!

I like that you are limited by time and not ‘durability’ or similar, I think it makes the upgrades feel better/stronger.

Thanks for playing and the comment! I like that the loops and upgrades woking together make you feel like you are progressing.

Nice game, it is quite rewarding to upgrade the speed :D

Developer

Thank you! I tried to make it so that all upgrades feel meaningful and complement each other. That's why the vision upgrade makes both the starting vision and the exploring vision better instead of having two different upgades.
