How is your game related to the Theme and Special Object?
A sequence of balls is spawned in a loops around the screen, toward the middle (it's a clone of Zuma, essentially) and they're broken by a little dude with a pickaxe.

The name got me :D

This game reminds me of a map of balloon tower defense. It's a bit simple, but I really like the ball rolling animation.

I'm glad you like it. I feel like I hacked everything together so half-assed ! ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

Cool little game, wish the difficultly would have increased over time.

Developer(+1)

Yesh. There's definitely a lot to be done before this could be considered an actual game. ๐Ÿ˜†

With more time (and after fixing that overlap bug) I probably would have increased color variation over time. And possibly added a second lane, so that planning and moving around is more necessary.

I loved the game, i would say it's a little easy and there's no difficulty change so i ended up dying when i decided to drop the game

If that was changed i think it would be perfect, I love it!

I fully agree with you on the difficulty. There's not much that's particularly compelling about the game as it stands. I feel like I basically made a slightly flawed tech demo. ๐Ÿ˜†

It was quite a good game loop actually!

Sadly the music cutout part way through :(

It was also a bit awkward to aim with the players direction using WASD and then mine with space... i would suggest point the player towards the mouse and left click destroies the block if in range.

The sound was pretty good and you almost hyptnotised me with the swirling ballls ๐Ÿ˜…

My score was 530 :)

Developer(+1)

You went the distance! Honestly, I thought the music might do that, but it was so down to the wire and there were so many other things I was trying to work out. ๐Ÿ˜…

Thank you for your time and the feedback. I appreciate you.

Thank you for apreciating me :)

And yes, i totally understand not prioritizing the music. Mine is just a measly 16 secound loop lol. Focusing on the gameplay is just a tad more important. :)

Zuma my beloved, it's neat to see a different take on that style of game. Great name by the way, gave me a chuckle

Developer

Glad to hear; that was the idea! ๐Ÿ˜†

Incredible concept, surprised I haven't seen this style of controller for these kinds of games before.

Honestly, I'd say this is a winning concept if you can add an "extra" reason for the player to have to move around the field. This will addict grandmothers across the country.

Developer(+1)

You raise a good point. I noticed that the challenge wasn't really... intrinsic, other than getting points.  Funnily, part of the original concept that popped in my head with this was a little speed boost, but I couldn't figure out a reason the player would need it. I just thought it would be funny to have burrito pickups that made you fart dash across the screen.

It definitely wants for something, but I can't figure it out for the life of me. The theme and item had me confounded.

I for sure think you should work on the concept some more, meant in like a positive way not as a criticism.  I was brainstorming with the team I work with (we submitted Circuit Miner) about your game and thought about maybe low-level enemies running around or yeah power ups spawning you have to grab. Either way I for sure think its one of the stand out ideas. Great job! Both the theme and the special object on this jam seemingly forced almost everyone into a pretty linear idea.

Oh weird. Most of the comments with submissions show their games under their profile, but not yours. ๐Ÿค”

We submitted under Circle House Media, not my personal account.
