The game mechanics are nice, the graphics are decent too. I just wish you made your own sound effects with tools like SFXR or Chiptone instead of using sounds from the internet.
Not sure about this, but I think you used the Minecraft death sound. Gave me a bit of a giggle.
I love the look of the plague doctor, but the scenery seems disproportionate and less detailed compared to our character. I finished the first level, which was well-balanced, but I couldn't get past the second one because the sequence of jumps is quite challenging. It's a good game mechanic, and I'm excited to see if you'll develop more levels based on this concept. :)
I like the mechanic of seeing the blue platforms or red monsters (although I think it is a bit of a stretch for glasses) but I think the games goes a bit too much on the memorization of where the blue and red are. I also died a lot because of the timing I needed to land my attack.
Switching of visibility is fun! I even did not know that you can attack and almost beat the 1st level in pacific mode (=
For me collisions with platform are a bit clunky when they are vertically close to each other. Also losing sound is too annoying. (;
Great game, the step up in difficulty from the first level to the second level is massive though. Lost count of how many times I died at the multi-platform, if you miss your jump its very unforgiving and before you know it the hand is on you. Very clean design though
I liked how the ennemies and platforms switch in visibility, it adds a layer of difficulty. The beginning of the second level was too difficult for me. The pixel art could be improved by having the same pixel size on all of the screen, the game over sound is also very loud, but the game is creative and fun to play.
