I only have one, I think the sounds effects might be too loud alone. Lowering that might help.

That was really nice. I like the concept of fighting the boss for a moment, and then gearing up after the cooldown. But to make the game more insane, I would of made it that you had to change all of your weapons. To do that, I would give more choices and more currency.
Also, I think you have good basis for a full game.
I really like how the game looked and the story had an interesting hook, but I think the game was a way too hard. The boss could one shot me with the laser attack that is hard to tell when he is going to do (Besides the exlamation mark) and I think the moving camera is more sick indusing than anything.
This game was really nice. I liked the vibe it gave and the contract system was a really nice twist. The bosses had a lot of fun patern but the controls made it hard to dodge sometimes. My problem with the controls is that it feels like the character is moving on a grid. But I have to applaud the look of the game, it has a really charming art style and the music is on point.
Wow, I'm impressed. Great use of the theme, the game looks great, the music is awesome, the SFX are on point, the controls are solid, the two weapons feel perfect with no weapon being overused. And the cherry on top, your bosses are really cool. I especially like the fake out of the second boss, and the third one was a great final challenge. I must also say that the world you created is quite interesting. If you push the concept, I will definitely keep an eye out.
I like the game's concept, but I think the controls and hitbox really makes this game a bit jarring for me. I like swapping places with blocks to stun the boss, but when I try to hit afterwards, it will either end up with me not touching the boss or me touching the boss but losing a lot of HP in the process. Also, I think putting the attack button on right click in a game that doesn't use the mouse to control the character is weird. There is also the camera that made me weird after while with its unpredictable movements.
On the other hand, the game looks quite nice and I like the animations
Pretty great, but there are a few things I would of change.
First of, I liked your use of the theme, but I would of gone a bit further and do something similar to Ikaruga (Shooting white bullets protects you from white attack, shooting black bullets protects you from black attack)
Second, I think the bosses had nice patterns but sometimes felt impossible to dodge with how fast they could go or their sizes.
Third, (and this is more of a personal preference) it felt weird to me that the player HP was to the right.
Otherwise, I think the music bugged when played since I could hear two boss theme at the same time. But never the less, you made a really interesting game.
The look is nice, but I didn't like the controls, I got stuck at the fourth boss because of how insane the fireball pattern is for the clunky controls. I also got killed for no reason during the bull when he hit a wall but damaged me at the opposite side of the screen. But otherwise, it's a nice game, but the controls really break the game for me.
Pretty fun, I liked how the less hp you have, the weaker you are. The bosses have pretty interesting pattern and they are fun to fight. But the healing animation was a bit annoying. With the second boss I could get hit if I parried the first arrow. Otherwise, the game looks pretty good and the animations are pretty smooth.
I really like the gameplay and mechanics, especially that dash. The boss has really fun pattern to dodge with the exception of that one attack during the mid-health transition that you cannot see coming. One complain I have is the booster sound is a bit too loud in my opinion. Otherwise, I'm a bit sad there is only one boss because I would of played more.
Great job.
I'm a big fan of old school shooters, and your game does justice to the genre. The movement is very smooth and the fact that your weapon and melee can give you momentum is something I love in this kind of game. My biggest complaint would the lack of feedback when hitting an enemy, since there were many times I finished a level and though I was on a cooldown. Maybe showing the boss die (and a death animation) before changing level would of been nice.
But I will definitely keep an eye out if you continue this project.
First of, your game looks great and I had a lot of fun. But I think a game around parrying makes the boss patterns less interesting, since a lot of them are punches or kicks. I think my favorite attacks were all the specials moves of the bosses in fact. I wasn't able to beat speed, and I think having some other way to parry would of helped (for example on the keyboard) since I always found parrying with right click to be unreliable.
Wow, that story was depressing... But for the game, I think the bosses were really cool and you used the theme really well. However, I think the fact that some attacks can only do damage in two direction makes it hard to fight. I also have to say that the game sounds good and the art, while very weird, is great.
The game has not enough cards to make it very interesting. Only attack and gain defense, which was underwhelming. The graphics were charming and the music ok. When it comes to the bosses, I had no real idea what was happening and I ended up one shoting the second boss and so I never found out about his attacks. In fact, my biggest problem was that I won without knowing what I did. Also selecting cards was a bit finicky.
I don't know what to say, I am breath taken. The art is great, the sounds are great, the bosses are fun, the controls are great and the Exchange theme is so crucial to the game that it makes it very hard to chose what to change.
The game is quite hard, but fair, and there is so much replay ability that this game feels extremely complete.
I like the exchange mechanic, and the fact that you hold 3 weapons is also very good, however, I wasn't able to finish the game. I like the option of the practice mode, but I still think the difficulty ramps up too quickly when you reach the second boss. But the boss patterns are really good. I have to say your game was quite fun.
I loved your game, it is a simple, but very fun battle system. But what really sells the game for me is the boss pattern, it is perfectly crafted around the mechanics and I have to applaud for that. The game looks quite stunning and the choice of music is great. My two biggest problem were the controls which feel like I could get a cramp after a while and the fact that there is only a single boss. I would love to play more with new content.
I also think your game would benefit to be played on a controller.
I think your game is pretty fun. Using buff and debuffs during the fight made me think carefully my every moves. I also like how you can just give one of your card to the boss. Not only that, you also made it so that you can gain bad cards and give it to the boss so he can use it. The big negative I will give is the lack of any sound or music, but you do mention it in the description. Overall, I like it.
