Nice mixing of 2D and 3D!
Thank you! Our two artists really have a great synergy!
I really like the feeling of this 2d character moving in a 3d environment.
Epic game experience
Glad you like the combination of our Art!
love the graphics! i got to a point where i got stuck on an edge and couldnt reload my bullets.
great work!
Glad you liked it! Not getting stuck on ledges will be the first fix we'll implement.
easily my favorite of the jam so far. solid job fun mechanic

Wow, this is very high praise! Thank you, I feel honored :)
Amazing game! As other people have said, you can land on the edge of a platform, and get stuck >_<. Besides that, I love it! :D
Yeah, knowing this bug exists and not being able to fix it is a bit heart-breaking. Glad you could still enjoy the game despite that, thanks! :)
Nice game I really liked it.
Glad you liked it! :)
This is a really fun game ! The only problem I had was getting stuck in corners (like in my screenshot). But I love the controls and the art ! Also thanks for doing a devlog, it's always interesting.
Thank you for telling us about the bug and going through the effort to make a screenshot! Not getting stuck on corners is by far the most requested feature. I already know to fix it, but it I cannot say if I have time to create a new build this weekend or the one after.
Wow this game is so cool! I really like the shooting mechanic. it feels great. Music and art style are well combined. I'm Looking forward for full release :)
Thank you very much! The compliments feel even better, knowing you submitted a great game yourself. We are already discussing about what exactly to make of this game. The List of features and bugs is a bit long, so we might create multiple updates on the way to full release :)
Loved the idea and the story premise.
Good job!
Glad you complimented the story! Was not too sure if people liked my idea for the narrative. In the final version the premise will be told in a cutscene but I cannot say if the story will change or if we will just add more on top of it.
love the teaser and it's fun just like games like pogo, but the music is a bit meh since it's kind of short so it gets repetitive but the art and the use of lights is really great(kind of reminds me of the game kindergarten), I think it would be fun if the enemy's have more health and an enemies that can attack from below like a sandworm or something.
good job :D
Thank you! I did not know the game pogo, but I watched a video and it looked like a lot of fun. You comparing our game to pogo is definitely a compliment to me. The Music was made by someone who has never composed anything in her life. Admittedly, the music doesn't fit the gameplay too well, but I am still very happy we got our own unique song! She did very well for her first try I think!
Your suggestions are great. Giving enemies more health was planned anyway, but the sandworm is new! Wrote down the suggestion, let's see when a burying enemy will make an appearance.
cool no problem
i'm in love with the gameplay and art style, but i hate the dead end! :D
The dead end is really weird. Don't know how soon we'll upload the first update, but that will definitely feature a more datisfying ending! Glad you enjoyed the game :)
Great concept! Would love for the reload to be a bit quicker, and also I got stuck on an edge and couldn't reload. Was fun though, the controls were quite intuitive. Nice job :)
Great feedback! The quicker reload and not getting stuck are two of our main priority changes right now. Glad you weren't put off by the flaws and still like our Project. Thank you :)
This was great. Got stuck on an edge and it wouldn't reload my weapon but luckily the restart button takes you to the previous checkpoint, not the beginning on the level lmao
Thank you! When reading about all these people getting stuck I immediately tested the reset option and was very relieved, that it works properly. Glad you found that option.
abolutley awesome. really enjoyed playing it. i found it hard but thats a comment on my skill not the game haha
Glad you liked it and weren't put off by the difficulty! The controls will get multiple changes and we'll remove some inconsistencies. Don't know anything about your skill, but the current state is a bit hard. Also, as soon as there are multiple levels, we can ramp up the difficulty gradually. Thank you for the feedback :)
lovely art and music! I really enjoyed this one.
Thank you, Ms. Tonk! Glad you enjoyed our game :)
The gameplay is really well done, i like the mechanic of just blasting yourself as a moving method and need to defend yourself with it too. It's really fun, it looks really good, it reminds me of octopath traveler, and i love the fliping animations on the cactuses xDD. Good job man!
Thanks for the nice comment mate! At least two of us brought up Octopath Traveler when talking about the art style, so I am very glad you recognized our main art inspiration. Well spottet!
The Cactus sprites were made by another team member, but I did the sound, jumping and flipping. The enemy character is the element I'm most fond of. Glad you like it!
haha pretty cool! Attictive and fun! the gunshot drove me crazy though
Thank you for the feedback! You mean the gunshot soundeffect was annoying? Do you have an idea how to improve it? Maybe make it quieter or vary the pitch of the effect?
I really really like the gameplay! It's easy to understand and fun. The Checkpoints are helpful as well. I love the 2D/3D-Mix as well!
Thank you! Very glad to read that both the gameplay and art are enjoyable. Everyone really did a great job on our team :)
This is great!
Thank you!
