Hello to everyone and congratulations on the Jam, even if you haven't finished before the deadline, I'm sure you had a lot of fun with just 48 hours to make a game. I would like to hear what was your experience in this las 48 hours?

-In my case, I recently(4 days ago) got my first drawing tablet, and because of that I decided to draw a more complex character, I'm pretty bad at drawing but I took the challenge and I'm really happy with the result!

-Feel free to give me a link to your game so I can try it, I'll try to play all the games posted here and give feedback.

Also if you want to check my games: https://itch.io/jam/mix-and-game-jam-2020/rate/822335, feel free to give me feedback and rate it if you want.

Hope you all had a lot of fun this past 48 hours and good luck to everyone :)

This was my first game jam in a while. I made an adventure-board-game where you have to type to kill enemies.

It was the first ever game jam, we were with 5 people and we are all students. We've learned alot from this game jam, and what we should and shouldn't do in future jams.

We do got a cool concept at the end, and a good base. I think that we should next time to overscope it like it normally happens, but this was the first 48h game that we made together so we really didn't know what we could and couldn't accomplish. The game that we made

I'm student too, (not for videogames sadly). Congrats! I think the best parts of the gamejams is that you learn a lot, no only in the technical side but also in time management, and a lot of other things.

Now you know your limits and now you just have to train and break those limits to make something better everyday :)

Even though I have done multiple game jams, it is always fun to participate. Instead of working on a massive project that will take at least a year, I can just create something that needs to be done within 48 hours. I always learn new things, I hpe you do too!

Btw, here is my game :D https://casualdutchman.itch.io/space-cards

This wasn't my first jam but this was my shortest yet! My team and I put a ton of work into those 48 hours, and I think the result was pretty neat: https://itch.io/jam/mix-and-game-jam-2020/rate/820091

This was my first jam and I did it with a bunch of friends, had a lot of fun with them conceptualizing the game, can be found here: https://itch.io/jam/mix-and-game-jam-2020/rate/821347

🎉🎉🎉This was my first 48 hour jam, it got quite stressful by the end and I had to do a LOT of drawing and programming.

Overall, I think my game took 17 hours to make, so... yeah! Lot of work, but fun.

It's called Tiny Chef and it's a cooking game platformer. https://mochibandit.itch.io/tinychef
