It was really fun, the levels each had their own trick and it was really fun, some things didn't work at times like wall jumps making for frustrating deaths but overall it is a really fun game, the flood mechanic works well and it puts pressure on you to go fast which causes other mistakes. Nice job!

Music was a bop, definitely set the vibe for a fast paced game. It seemed the enemies hitbox was a bit finnicky, missed some shots the definitely seemed like they would hit. Pretty unforgiving in the beginning but cool once you figure out what's going on!

good platformer shooter, the rising lava adds a lot of tension to it. The wall jumping was a bit problematic for me.

Really well done all around. Must play this game in full screen. My only critique is you should let the character shoot continuously.

Really enjoyed the music. Struggled with some of the wall jumping!

Also thought the colours to distinguish visuals was good

Cool concept, enemies and player could use some visual polish, everything else is nice and polished
tho, so good job with that.

The level is too hard for me, idk why it goes back down, I would have the level only go up, so you can't get stuck.

I like the music.

Nice game. I really like speedrunning games.

Very fun game mechanic! though the horizontal level design its abit hard atleast for me so usually this game mechanic is for players trying to go upwards but I think your game is really fun :D

So, you still have plenty of time to work on this (unless you already spent all of your 48 hours), and I’d highly recommend adding WASD as a control option, because aiming with mouse, and using arrow keys, and using space to jump means that a standard keyboard you need 3 hands to play in it’s current configuration.

I'm confused. The main control scheme IS WASD. That's what i used for playtesting, and that is what i use to play it today.  I don't think I even knew I could play with arrow keys. The rushed tutorial I put in the pirst level tells the player to move with WASD. Also, I used all of my 48h, Aug 15 to Aug 17.  If, for some reason, you can only play with arrow keys, it might be bugged for you. A simple game screen restart should fix it.

Edit : I'm stupid. I just realized what that 48h comment meant. I think I have like 10h left. I'm going to work on it some more, but don't expect anything great, exempt for more levels, and better balance.

Fair enough, I’ll give it another shot tonight. For what it’s worth, I’ve been using Chrome on Windows.

Ok, I gave it another try, and there seems to be something fiddly about the keybinds, but I was able to get them to work. Chalk it up to fiddly WebGL builds, I guess.
