Great mechanic and quite good game feel

I played this for a bit, high score of 720. There are some nice features in here like procedurally generated levels (I think, or was it just a few different maps?) particle effects on the tractor beams, SFX. I appreciate the scoring mechanic too to encourage replaying the game.

I think a bit more of an overall direction would be cool, or even different levels with new challenges, but these can all be added post-jam. The colour palette I think could use some adjusting too, just so things look a bit clearer.

Overall a nice original idea, fairly well executed. Good job.

Interesting game, I really like the mechanics of picking up guys while they try to shoot at you.

My biggest problem was also the visibility of some sprites, it would look much nicer if things popped out more.

I liked how simple it was to play, and the concept was engaging enough for me to want to keep playing for a while. I don't know if it was intentional or just my browser, but the background blur while moving was a bit distracting and made it hard to focus on targets.

The light sprites on light background makes it difficult to spot things.

It keeps your attention for a while. It could use some game play instructions or tips. I didn't understand the tractor beam (if that is what it was). The beam didn't seem to do anything, I just had to slam into animals to pick them up and get points. And boy are those animals quick. I really liked the enemy AI, he was tough.
