That was a fun little game. The movement felt nice and was fun to master. I agree with everyone else that an indicator would have been nice but overall it was good.
Well designed rage level. Good feeling movement. I echo the request for a directional indicator. Jump King didn't have one, but it didn't need it because the jump angle was set in stone and all you needed to think about was power. Great work!
This is a solid game and I definitely see the appeal towards people that play rage games. However, I will say that it took me a solid minute to realize that you have to place the mouse opposite of where you want to jump.
well thank you for playing and rating it
I love the mechanic and the physics feel really solid and learnable. It would have been really nice to have some sort of indicator display to show you which direction you were going to jump in though. Good job overall :)
Thank you for your feedback :)
I love how the character pancakes after a long fall. That being said, I fall a ton.
Thanks man
Came back after release - really cool game!
I think you achieved making exactly the game you wanted to make. That's really impressive for anyone, not even considering it's your first jam.
Thank you, feedback from a proffesional game dev really means a lot
The physics of this game is actually super satisfying. I liked how there was no friction when you landed, allowed me to be more daring with my jumps without worrying about sliding off. I also liked how you bounced off walls without losing momentum so it didn't punish you for missing jumps. The game could've used a tutorial, music, and some particle effects and squash-and-stretch animation maybe but it's a short game jam and the game feels so good to control that it's not too big a deal.
Thank you man i really appreciate your feedback... It's my first game jam and it was pretty hard for me to find time to create music, particle effects ect... But otherwise, thank you, ur comment means a lot 😊
Really good for a first game! I hope you enjoyed the jam and join another one! This is my second I've been enjoying it a lot
Wow this mechanic actually feels so nice
