Have to say, it's a really cool game... I didn't make it through even though I've seen the ghosty boss ^^

Overall very polished took me a while to understand how to fight against the spear guys but once u figure out it's "doable" ^^

Still very challenging which typically is a good thing but I would have loved it and probably at least made it to the end of the game if there was something like a checkpoint.

One problematic thing is that 1. Your sword gets disabled when you get hit (which by no means is a "bad" mechanic, it's just a bit frustrating but okay) and 2.  You can't push enemies away or go through them. Combined with 1. this sometimes leads to undeniable death especially if you get surrounded by multiple enemies or get stuck in a small room (f.e. the toilet room?). You pretty much just can't escape and since you can't hit the enemies once you get hit once you're pretty much done ^^'

Still very fun to play and cool attack schemes :3

Yeah, pretty much everyone finds this game difficult. We were aiming for it to be difficult, but I think as a result of lack of play testing on my part, we didn't really have a chance to gauge how difficult we made it until the last moment. And as you mention, it's sort of a combination of things that make it way too hard. I probably should have just went ahead and cut some of the more egregious issues before submitting, but meh, it is what it is. I'm still fairly happy with how it came out, especially since I didn't have time to use the full 48 hours to work on this.

Thanks for the feed back! This has been my first game jam I've ever completed, and it's been a lot of fun and really insightful. I'm impressed by the amount of really in depth feed back are willing to give on so many games, haha. It's really quite a cool experience.

Damn this game is hard ahah. Like holy shit.

Umm my guy if i had feedback for you it's that you can fix a good part of the difficulty by increasing the hit range of the sword^^.

For the rest of the game i loved how you managed each rooms.
I was able to like get the guy in another room one by one to beat them and progress.
Felt good to do so.

Good work!

Awesome game! Super hard but very engaging!
I don't know if it would have been too overpowered but being unable to attack after being hit is kind of annoying but acceptable.

Very cool game!

This game is WICKED hard. Holy moly, the difficulty jump from the room with two enemies to the room with four regular enemies and Mr. Spinny Scythe Boy was insane - took me like 10 tries to beat it - and then I instantly died in the next room, haha!
I really like the feel of the game, the map is so cool. It's super satisfying to pop through the doors - the exploration system you made is really good.
The sword feels kind of slow and unresponsive to swing with, maybe if it was a bit larger hitbox or a bit faster it would have felt easier.
Also, it was really, really easy to get trapped in by a group of dudes chasing me, like surrounding me by a desk, and then I have nothing to do, it's just instant death.

Overall though, this feels like an incredible start to an amazing game - really, really great work!

I really like what you've done with this but the combat is a little hard to pickup. I finally managed to time it right but I think your attacks should have some visual feedback (so you know which enemy you've hit). I think it could also do a little bit of knockback/ stun the enemy for a second as they still sometimes manage to get hit and then push past the sword and hit me anyway. I love that every room is unique and there are multiple enemy types to face, forcing you to change tactics. Keep up the good work :)

I enjoyed the dungeon system and the fact there was more than one enemy made it more interesting that a lot of the games I have tried so far, so good job on that. I found the combat quite difficult because your range feels quite short compared to theirs, but that might just be me playing badly. Nice job
