Hey! That was pretty good. They say great minds think alike. But we even have the same names and similar games. Quite the coincidence 😂. That being said, your’s 100 times better looking and has better gameplay compared to mine. Good job 😉👍
The inputs felt really good, but jumping felt a little clunky. I also had massive lag when the game loaded, but I know it's just assets and shaders loading, because I had the same issue as well. As a tip that I also got, try to set the Target Hardware to Scalable instead of Maximum, specially when not having graphics options.
Good work!
fun game and the visuals are really nice!!! little laggy but maybe that's just my computer :P great work!!
Thanks for the feedback! How was it lagging? Frame drops, stuff not loading, or something else? also could you let me know what GPU it was running on and how much ram you have?
Fun gameplay loop, visually appealing map generation, and great sound effects. Unfortunately, the game was hard to run on my potato PC so I couldn't get that far lol. Love the cyclathon references (and of course Ironmouse)!
Thanks! What kind of potato are we talking about? like 2011 laptop with integrated graphics or a second hand 1080? Also, what was hard to run? were things not loading or was it just really low frames? I have a monster computer, so it is a genuine problem for me to optimize things to work on worse spec computers during a time crunch. It's just not something I have to think about and then it gets me into trouble... (I didn't realize that an old game I made was taking 23 Gigs of ram to run.....Cut out most people who wanted to play it, lol)
My specs are:
i5-8400 @ 2.80GHz
GTX 1060 6GB
16 GB RAM
I wouldn't say my PC is a complete toaster but I was struggling to attain 30 FPS playing
