Loved it! Got a little mixed up with left and right being W and S, but otherwise awesome job!!

Neat roguelike. I wasn't able to wrap my head around W and S being left and right, So an option to change that to A and D would've been nice. Also, none of the upgrades felt super badly unbalanced or visibly worse than the rest. I do feel like more i-frames on being hit, or a stronger indication of when you were invulnerable would be nice though.
Nice roguelike! At first i found the controls a little funky but then i got used to it and it quickly became one of my favourites!
Out of all the games that do the 2D bike movement, I will say this game does it the best! Very fun concept, and I love that the upgrades you get are randomized, so that it gives you a new experience each time you play it.
Duuude. This game is such a fun concept. Everything is so juicy, love the pixel art. The only thing I would change is the speed of your bike and maybe increase the gravity a bit. Definitely return to this game and complete it after I finish voting for other games.
Thank you for the submission!
Summary: I LOVED testing and replaying this game. Constructing a multi-stage rogue-like for a GameJam is already a wild concept, but to make it so visually clean and polished is incredible. There was of course some noticeable inconsistencies in sprite collision, and sometimes all momentum just stopped after a jump. In one instance, I kept taking damage whilst levelling up. It is also a very crucial feature that (I think) you can't get damaged during a dash, which seems like something which should be more highlighted, but the game is a fun challenge to beat! Replayed multiple times out of the pure enjoyment. Highly recommended.
Thank you very much for the detailed feedback! I would apreciate if you could answer some questions about the bugs so i can fix them later if possible!
-The stopping momentum after the jump, by any chance happened near a exploding "white enemy"? since that is one bug that i know of. I dont really know about one that happened just after getting out of the ground without other actors around.
-About the damage when leveling up. Yeah that was a rush feature to stop all the enemies around because of how the Unity time and animations work lol, definitely gonna fix that one!.
-The thing about the dash, You mean to clarify to the player about the invincibility frames that the dash has as a message in the instructions?
Thank you again for taking the time to play and write feedback, really appreciated
My pleasure! I'll try and answer as clear as I can recall:
-Unfortunately, I am unable to remember if a White Enemy was involved with the sudden lack of movement, however, it was purely after having dashed around the circuit. As I realigned myself to enter the left zone's edge, I attempted to jump and as soon as the motion began, I froze and dropped to the floor. Proceeded to get swarmed by enemies. A similar issue happened 2 more times, under similar set ups. I hypothesise it had something to do with changing directions, but was unable to replicate it by choice.
-Pretty much what I expected! I wasn't too surprised that I started taking damage as the sprites were in contact, but felt worthwhile to point out.
-Exactly! Those I-frames were pretty much what got me through the game consistently, and I was unsure if it being left to discover was intentional or not. If it is supposed to be known by the player before starting, I would include it in the instructions.
Very Nice I didnt expect a closed map rogue like but never thought of a half pipe like design very clever : D
I had to get used to this type of game at first because I haven't played something with this style of movement before, but I found myself having a lot of fun! good job!!
This is SO good, you should be proud. Was a lot of fun to play and I was thinking about it long after playing, a real testament to the core gameplay you've got. Well done :)
The game is polished, fun and addictive. The art looks great. The first few seconds of the music are a bit annoying but the rest of it is good. And while the game may be a bit difficult, it is definitely of the best this jam has to offer.
This extremely well made, props to you! Controls we're tricky to get used to but I was having a blast anyway. Please catch up on sleep <3
Wow the art style and movement mechanics in this were good, I kept getting stuck up the wall and surrounded by demons XD. The upgrades added a nice flair to the combat mechanics too.
Awesome stuff!
Really interesting game! Love the art and the map allowing you to do tricks, although the controls were confusing at times when the sides swapped.
