What a beautiful well design simple game. The pixel art and level design is fantastic. Your use of colours made it obvious where I needed to go and how to progress the story forward. The story itself flowed really well and was a great use of the theme.

Only suggestions would be to have a few obstacles,  or parts of the god that need to be collected to extend the story and game play. Also, structurally, it could use a mid point with a point of no return. You kinda have one with the transition into deeper waters, but I’m not sure what you’re leaving behind.  Adding clarity on what you’re leaving behind when you descend could help.

Overall, a very polished well written game with a well constructed level design.

I loved it.
It is short and simple, yet very emotional.
The art is beautiful, the interactions are very intuitive, and the story is poetic.

Superb.

A very nice experience, the semplicity of the gameplay and the artstyle make it even better.

A story that unfolds itself between few words and a soundtrack that bring everything together, I enjoyed playing it and have a look at the sea god, and follow him until the end while exploring the deep sea by a simple color palette.

I enjoy every bit of it, nice work for a solo, truly

Stunning! The muted colour pallet and gradients of the dark abyss are such lovely visuals. You used the phrase "ballad" to describe this, and I think that's entirely accurate. The music is so relaxing too! But it makes me sad. Really stellar job here. Bravo.

Great job. It ties together theme, narrative, cycle, and gameplay in just the right tone. I believe this is one of the winners of the Jam. I'd be surprised if it weren't.

P.S.: Once, while having a conversation with a Wiccan who kindly shared and explained their religion to me, about the personification of nature as Gods and how death should be dealt with among them, I received a peculiar response: 'Gods die like us, only they turn into dreams and are renewed into desires.' Your game reminded me of this conversation.

What a beautiful, poetic experience! The music and palettes set the atmosphere just right, and as a fellow lover of the deep sea, you have perfectly described what the bounty a whalefall brings to the creatures of the abyss!

good game and the music helps a lot to the atmosphere, the art its simple but amazing and every step to go down just make me thing how is a dead god, i have some bug but beside that is a amazing game

Well, I already posted on the game page but hell, your game is so tight! I really enjoyed it!

This game shows a lot about you as a person....your ability to convey a lot with seemingly simple elements; your ability to see multiple, seemingly contradictory perspectives in a non-judgmental way, the poetry in your spirit - this was one hell of an aesthetic experience.  Quite a ballad, this!

Well done!
