As some people have already said, the theme is a little weak, but I liked the game. I love that you included so many friends as well, and I'm amazed by how many poses, backgrounds, and animations you managed to make in that short time.

Thank you for playing! I kept the 'game mechanics' rather simple, so I had a whole day working on the sketches of the drawings. I got my two younger siblings to help me with line work and coloring, though. They were my team, so to say.

Holy tutel!, I'll have nightmares with that vedal, but I enjoy a lot the drawings and some of the choices made me laugh.

One tiny problem that I found was that one of the text in the library level didn't go away immediately and stayed for a while, but meh it didn't ruin it for me

Good work!! :3

Yeah, I had the idea to use the 'real life' Vedal and that this monstrosity was born. Couldn't stop my self either, I just had to use him. It is good to hear that the game made you laugh! The library text and I don't seem to get along, tried to fix that two times, but was probably rushing too much, that I forgot to save the step in the animation system... Thank you for playing!

Vedal scared me but very silly and cute overall :]

I must admit, nightmare turtle was probably not my best idea, but I just had to. Thank you for playing! :D

It doesn't seem to fit the theme very well but other than that it's super cute and charming. I especially love different game over screens. They are so charming!

Developer

I know what you mean. I realized that, halfway through the jam, that the game doesn't fit the theme that well, but it was too late by then. Thank you for playing!

Very nice! I like the on paper art style :D

Developer

Thank you for playing! I am glad you like the drawings, they took the longest...

Cute art and music!

Developer

Thank you! Music is not made by me, though, but free assets from the people I credited in the end.

Very cute, although transition from sleeping Vedal to standing up Vedal gave me a heart attack :D. That thing haunts my dreams :P

Developer

I hope your heart is okay. :D I thought it would be funny to include the 'real life' Vedal. Thank you for playing!

the game is very unresponsive, the first screen took 30 seconds to load. i saw the hand-drawn picture of anny, evil and neuro, it's pretty charming but i couldn't proceed past this, the game froze. if anyone could get it to work i'd be happy to revisit

Developer

Thank you for telling me. The game works fine on my side, even when downloaded from itch.io, but I will look into this and hopefully find what is causing this issue. Will update then, as soon as I can, or is allowed.

i tried this on another pc and managed to play it. really love the art and it's super charming! it's a nice story and i like adventure games like these. it must have taken a lot of effort to draw all the scenes and animations, high praise for that. excellent work!

Developer

Thank you for trying again! The drawing did take a lot of the given time, but I had my two younger siblings helping me with the lines and coloring, luckily. Thank you for the praise!
