one of the best games in the jam that encapsulates the theme, rivaled only by Left Behind. extremely clever and creative with fun mechanics and cool aesthetics. more people should play this!

i think it's a creative idea for an educational game but the implementation needs work: the movement, platforming, interactions all don't feel so good to control. with that said, there are many mini-games and it's quite interesting to play. i did enjoy going through different time periods and themes. i also love that there is an option to kill the teacher, which i find to be hilarious. good job!
thanks for letting me know! indeed i do agree that the remnants are weird to use, i'm thinking of moving that mechanic to NPCs so there's like dead NPCs and maybe shift the game more towards murder mystery? just some ideas 😄 and unfortunately the South thing is a bug, i'll try to fix it in the future!
amazing visuals with well-drawn sprites! played it on an emulator (sameboy). love the artstyle. the story and dialogue was cute and funny too. quite impressive to see many different dialogues. unfortunate that it is incomplete cuz the concept of planning different schedules and have it play out seems like it'd be a cool VN. nonetheless, i enjoyed it, great job!
very interesting idea! i had fun killing them ghosts but it's too punishing. ya can't just take away my shields in the final boss just because i didn't move in the first second, then make me start over from the beginning, come on now. i do think it's impressive that you managed to implement a rhythm + combat game like this in such a short time. good job!
thanks for letting me know! Evil has 6 turns to move and hide vedal before the start of the game (this is not shown to the player), and if she moves through a NPC space they will report where she came from or went to. so if she went South but there is no more space, then it means they reported it wrong, it is a bug! i'll try to fix it in the future!
completed the levels, very well executed puzzle game! it does feel a little slow to move and there's alot of repetition in the last puzzle but it's quite enjoyable to play. i like the idea that your past self and evil can obstruct you or cause paradoxes, and the rewind function is great. cool idea with strong ties to the theme. good job!
extremely fun, the best submission so far in terms of gameplay. the different outcomes and interactions in the events depending on who is in your party is also incredible. i think a game like this is perfect for Neuro SDK, it's replayable, turn-based with some decision-making, and with further polish it can be outright amazing. i enjoyed it very much, excellent work!
i love card games! i beat the game and destroyed neuro/evil. it's quite impressive because card interactions can be very tricky to implement in such a short time especially when you even have a deck builder, very ambitious! i love the idea and i think it could be quite awesome.
Bugs Encountered
- enemy vedal randomly gets bonus attack for no reason, that's just straight up cheatin
- anny's flip condition is to take damage twice, but she can flip after just taking damage once
Other Problems
- game is basically decided via deck-building as there is no room for decision-making in the duel with only 3 cards in hand and 1 draw per turn. there's no way to unequip weapons and items
- the deckbuilder doesn't have a preview for the cards, so i had to memorize what they did when i was in game
- no button to quit back to main menu during the duel, i am forced to win or lose before i can go back
anyways, i enjoyed the game, so good job!
