The game is too dark for me and i really couldn't solve anything i think but great job anyway, i bet people who like to think will have a blast with this one.
Ah yes a fellow language-related game :]
I failed to finish the jigsaw. I couldn't even really read the instructions. But that's at least partially because I'm not a fan of puzzle games. The concept is quite original, or at least I don't think I saw a game where the instructions are simple, and available from the start, but just missing some letters.
The puzzle took a bit of time for me, fun puzzle game, and high quality femboy sound effects.
I think you should include instructions for people a little dumber (like me), because I kind of didn't know how to find letters/do jigsaw. Cool game idea though. Good work.
Seems like a good idea. I added "SPOILER FOR JIGSAW PUZZLE" to the game description. (requires a click to show answer)
Thanks for the feedback. 😀
Brute force problem solving is neither required nor intended.
Also: In Version 1.1 the jigsaw puzzle interprets "do x within y seconds" as waiting time too - this will be adjusted after the game jam ends.
The jigsaw puzzle was the only one I had problems with. Otherwise, pretty fun game
Fun and unique concept.
But I found some problem that make me stumble for a while in "that" part
due to somehow I need to wait for 5 sec instead of 3 sec for some reason :neurocry:.
maybe having some feedback from interaction as a hint for that part will be great :neurohypers:
I've adjusted "that" puzzle for version 1.1.2 (I'll be able to upload it after the Game Jam is over)
Thank you for your feedback.
A clever game, and the puzzles had me thinking haha! I did have to guess a bit at first but once I got the ball rolling I had more fun with it. I enjoyed it!
Glad you enjoyed it! 😀
Very atmospheric, and I loved how you tied piecing together memories with finding letters to solve puzzles! Unfortunately, I found the puzzles themselves to be a bit frustrating, especially the jigsaw
Thanks for the feedback. I know I expected too much from my players in previous games. I had hoped that I had toned down the difficulty for this game. But apparently I overdid it again 😅. You telling me this will help me figure out an ideal game difficulty for future games.
