Good RPG game.  I like the art style though I wish there was also a detailed view of the player character in a screenshot.  There were too many membranes to interact with.  Maybe just have the player automatically pass through them and pick up the item.  I also didn't see any save points but maybe there are some later on.  I only played for a few minutes.  GJ!

It's crazy that you were able to make a full dungeon-style RPG for this. Amazing game!

I had SMT: Strange Journey vibes while playing this, possibly due to the lore. Amazing how you made a RPG for this jam, and with such cool art! And it's open source too.

My only nitpick is that the pixel grid seems to be not rendering properly on my computer, making it hard to read stuff. It would've been nice to be able to disable it:

Edit: The sound usage was pretty cool too!

Thank you, SMT was a huge inspiration :) I’ll add an option for that after the voting period ends, thanks for the feedback!

How difficult it is without jumps ... And the movement of the camera does this. That if this game was on Nokia, we would all think that it is the coolest. Camera movement really makes the hero come more alive

the scariest jam game. However, I did not expect to see such an RPG at the jam. YOU have done a lot of work

Is the progress saved? I just want to play it later

Absolutely insane. With the specified limitations, an RPG was definitely not on my mind when planning for this jam. Hope you're proud of the final result.

I love this game. It had a phenomenal atmosphere, and I've only seen one other game with anything like this. I'm a huge fan of works that tap into the surreal to create an eerie, dreamlike experience, and this was a lot of that. Seriously, I adore everything from the worldbuilding, to the character design, to the dialogue.

I wasn't expecting the ending (at least the one I got, unsure if there are more), but it makes total thematic sense and I appreciate it for that. Just the cherry on top of the cake.

And I caught at least one SCP reference, which is always neat!

Thank you, I didn’t expect many people to get to the end!

An rpg on nokia 3310, really well done.

Would have loved to have had a game like this on my mom's Nokia haha. Not sure if I missed it, but I would have liked to see the creatures' health when you battle them, would be good to know when you should be using bombs vs. the standard attack. :)

Thanks for the feedback, I will likely add that after the voting period ends:)

The game looks incredible, I didn't have time to test it very well, but I'll test it more calmly after the jam.
