Pretty fun. Nice graphics too and I like the idea of conquering sea monster girls.
the ship and water are nice! Godnesses too
Gameplay pretty repetative and my cannon ball have no dammage to anything!
Would be nice to unlock bosses after defeting a previous one and make some "you win, you good, have all godnesses to yourself" screen after refeting the queen :D
Thanks for the feedback! I probably should lover the shooting point of the cannon, this way it just flies above the enemies. Good to know! Also, the changed progression is a good idea :)
I really recommend playing the windows build, because the web build has those annoying loading breaks whenever it plays a sound effect for the first time (the windows build seems to have those as well, but they are much shorter). My knowledge about Godot is limited, but are you sure that there isn't a better way to handle SFX?
The gameplay is a bit bland, and there were a lot of times where I died without really knowing why. Is it possible that some colliders are a bit off? Also not sure why there are health upgrades when everything seems to kill me instantly anyway.
Hi! Web seems to be all around rough with Godot, but I also should've probably preload the sounds. Not sure if that would've fixed it, but it's an idea.
Also, the colliders are perfect - so perfect in fact, that is becomes a problem, the obstacles are designed to instakill the player, but the waves are sometimes taller then the level floor, and hide the lower obstables perfectly. Because of the tight fit of the collision shapes, you collide with the like one pixel wide top of the stone, and die as a result. Not great planning on my part to be fair.
Hp matters against the enemies, they do damage.
I dont know if it was my browser (Firefox) but I had some trouble getting the game started and loading the levels smoothly. I was finally able to get it running and beat the boss and I got to the lighthouse. The AI tentacle art was dope and the controls were good!
Thanks for playing! The web version is sadly not the best, Godot came a long way in making it better, but it's still not great.
