I liked the puzzles. Not super hard but I loved that I could switch and I also liked the limited moves. It created a motivation and goal to solve the puzzle within a certain number of moves. I thought it was used in a clever way and made the challenge factor just right. The only additional thing that would've been awesome, would've been a quick guide for game play on the title screen.

Nice job on this! It was a really fun puzzle game. I was a bit confused on level 3, I had to restart several times before I understand how to switch frames, but once I got through that I made it to the end. I love the artwork and music combo you chose, seemed to fit the computer vibe! At times I did get confused where the character was when I started, so maybe there is a way to help distinguish where the character is. Sometimes I would have to burn some energy just to know where I was. But overall, really loved this game. Nice job!

Unfortunately, my computer can't play this. :( Keep getting a .dll error. Tried to fix it but it still won't run. :( Was looking forward to playing! Might be because I am running WIN7? not sure.

Very nice little puzzle game! The graphics and audio were great! I am always a fan of doing the tutorial by actually playing the game!  Good work! A few thoughts:

  • Was a bit too easy. I messed up a good number of times but still had plenty of energy to run around. I think the energy levels could be tightened up a bit so that players must find the most optimal route.
  • I think it would be a nice addition to have a prompt or a description somewhere telling the player what each frame or suit can do. I ended up wasting a couple of steps because I didn't realize only the "tube" frame could go over water. Might be a nice little addition.
  • I think some story could do it justice! :)

Overall great job! Would love to see it expanded! :D

Which .dll is missing?  I packaged it for Windows 10, so that is likely the case.  I'll see if I can get something working.

Yeah I tried to install the dll but I don't think it works with Win7. Downloaded and restarted my computer and it still gave me this error message. :(

Edit: Also this message

Bummer.  Let me see if I can get a build off of my old windows laptop and post it.

Sweet! Lmk. Yeah Sorry about that. I'm stuck in the old days! haha

Not a problem!  I put a new build up and made sure it runs on my old Windows 7 laptop.  Let me know if it works for you.

It works! Thanks! :D

Updated my original post. :)

Thanks for the feedback!  I'm a bit trash at puzzle design and knew that I didn't have any communication to the player about the robot frame abilities, so I leaned towards giving the player more time to move and explore.

No problem and no worries! That actually makes a lot of sense to give them more time and let them find their own way. I think if you tightened it up and had enough people playtest and find the most optimal routes that would give you the best results for a balanced middle ground. Keep up the good work!

I like the idea of picking up frames and switching frames to overcome different obstacles. I think this idea has a lot of potential if you decide to expand it into a bigger game.
