The writing and name dropping of the theme was super stiff, but I actually love the content here. You touched on some of my favorite elements here, the Zone, interspecies interaction, interesting lore, and I loved the robot's reveal!

Good concept.

This was a new take and playful with the interaction of the various races on a common problem (maybe a little Grimdark Trek initially), enjoyed it.

An original (and very fun!) concept that plays well with the new GDF lore we've been getting - it feels fully integrated and not tacked on at all. I was hoping for a little more personal connection with the characters, though - maybe names, maybe more distinctive character voices - and I think that would have made the ending, and the robot reveal, hit that much harder. Overall, a very solid story!

overall I really enjoyed this story. I love the diverse case of characters each with their own motivations and personalities.
