Description
Genre is chill, jazzy, a little lo-fi maybe.
Within the game, these tracks are meant to be heard upon exiting your front door and walking to work. A 'commuting phase' in between VA-11 Hall-A style story gameplay, where you work in a coffee shop in a small town you've just moved to. No rush, just take in the scenery and interact with people and the environment. Perhaps collect floating gems, pet cats, and avoid the occasional bicycle.
Each chapter takes place in a different season with a soundtrack to match. By Autumn, you've more personal connections and confidence, so the track is built up too, more uptempo. And you've factored a trip to the convenience store into your journey.
Composed using Ableton Live 11. Instruments mostly are an Epiphone Les Paul, MIDI drums, and whistling.

How does it fit the theme?
I did my best to make tracks representing Spring, Summer and Autumn with the restriction of centering around the guitar, mostly with two parts keeping to their roles.

really love how you created an environment with these songs- complete with entering and exiting a minimart in "Kickin' Leaves." Plus, it's refreshing to hear some compositions based around guitar

Really great, chill tracks! They capture the vibe of a coffee shop perfectly. Also great choice to use CR-78 drums on Birdsong Morning.
The whistling/bird sounds in the first track are great! Super unique and chill entry
chill tracks to listen to. Great guitar playing. I can definitely hear this playing in a coffee shop. The music in games like VA-11 Hall-A definitely need a soundtrack that you can jam to and I can definitely jam to this.

it has the characteristic of background music but you could very well imagine the life of a small coffee shop owner going about their day all year round

Fantastic work! You nailed the chill vibes for sure. I absolutely love the moment at 1:04 in Kickin Leaves where the track turns into a mini mart jingle. So clever.
As a Brazilian I loved the bossa nova vibe contained here :) The guitar and bass lines are very well composed and executed. If I had to choose one as my favorite, I would choose "Kickin' Leaves"
