I loved the colors and the scenery. The mechanics that involve basic character movement and physical attacks are quite frustrating. I don't understand why he's kind of anti-gravity. On the other hand, the ranged attack mechanics and the grapple system are very fun.

Extremely fun! I loved the mechanics, and the universe created, simple but makes me want to explore and see if there is something new. I liked the difficulty, I think the checkpoints are well located, maybe I would just add some in more critical areas, since the game works by fast respawns, going back a lot on the map gets a little annoying
A nice game! The controls respond well, the art is very cute, I really enjoyed playing!
If I had to say something that could improve it would be the sound effects, not specifically their quality but their implementation. For example, when an enemy enters the cat's attack radius a glowing sound starts playing, and if the enemy leaves that radius the sound ends abruptly. This happens with all sounds, as they are musical and depend on movement. They should have some extra tail, a subtle reverb that modulates so the sounds don't completely shut down. This can be easily done in an audio middleware (I don't know if there's a way to do it directly in unity). Increasing the amount of variations for the sounds would also make the result even better.
But these really are details for future improvements. The result you showed for the jam is perfect, congratulations!
I like the design and humor of simply playing a sword-wielding mage. But the area is very confusing, the combat doesn't have a good response and impact, and every time I died I ended up being reborn in the air, having to restart the game. With some fixes and improvements it will be much more fun to play!
This game is absolutely fantastic. Everything here works, the design, the cinematic mood, the sound effects are on point. Extra points for the soundtrack that in conception, execution and implementation is impeccable. I love how the sounds become dull as the health bar goes down, it brings a good sense of risk, something like "hey, I know you think this world is cute, but it's also dangerous". I want to see more of this. Congratulations!
Very fun, the controls respond well, the universe you created is interesting and encourages exploration. I really liked the tracks, very comfortable to listen to in loop, it would only be better if there was some sidechain/volume fade between the gameplay track and the theme that plays when it switches to "meg mode", so as not to get a dry cut between the tracks.
I also found some NPCs near action locations a little annoying (for example, the npc who keeps asking to use the hammer on the broken wall). When I use the hammer, it ends up activating the conversation with the NPC at the same time and I need to read the entire conversation again to be able to play again. And some NPC's don't give new information or talk about their world, they just repeat what others have already said.
The SFX are cohesive but could be more alive, brighter, with more layers. They would make this universe more palpable that way.
Anyway, an excellent game! I gave the maximum score to everything because I believe that the negative points do not significantly interfere with the good result you managed to deliver in the short time you had to develop!
Your game was the first one that caught my attention. I found the aesthetic very interesting and well done. The game is visually beautiful, and the soundtrack accompanies the scenarios bringing a good ambience. However I couldn't get very far, maybe something in the wire mechanics can be improved to make the movements smoother, or something in the level design can make this mechanic better used. Anyway, congratulations on the delivery, you made a good game with a lot of potential!
The drum rhythm of the first track is known here in Brazil as "Funk carioca" from the 90s, inspired by miami bass and freestyle. For me it was very interesting to hear this musical style in a game context, as in my cultural context it is a rhythm more used in dances, mainly in the suburbs. The result was amazing!
"Pond Springs" and "Cyber Summer" reminded me a lot of Flying Lotus' work in Yasuke.
I really liked the tone and texture choices and the mix of elements integrated into Hip-Hop. Very cool result!
What a fantastic job! The tracks seem to tell a completely immersive story. First I listened to them without the context, then I went back to read the story behind each track and it was a new experience. The soundtrack is very cohesive, I don't know how you got the time you needed for all this work without giving up on quality! Congratulations!
