Description
A (hypothetical) top-down RPG about a "Chosen One" run out of town as an infant on a misunderstood prophecy

For these tracks, I used Logic Pro X: one track was composed with Diva, and the other with Diva and some instruments using the free Kirby's Dream Land 3 soundfont. (Soundfont URL: https://woolyss.com/chipmusic-soundfonts.php)

Theme:

Runaway
Picture theme

How does it fit the theme?
"Lost" depicts the "Chosen One" MC "running away" into a deep forest, together with their guardian, both to escape unwarranted punishment and to ponder their outlook in life.

"Epiphany" plays in an abandoned ruins, situated in a dangerous part of the forest. It plays just after the climax, when the "Chosen One" had been told the full, unredacted prophecy, and that the misunderstanding was not a freak accident; someone tampered with the prophecy with malicious intent. The song indicates the MC's present mood, and their newfound resolve to run back to town and fix everything.

First five star for impression so far! Feels like a space themed game. "Lost" is my favorite track.

Epiphany - I like how you have this THX-like opening sound :D. I also quite like the happy vibes of the tune itself. It feels very gamey. I would have liked a little more variety in the melody, but it's still great.

Lost - I really like this one. I like how the melody and bass play together. It has quite a mysterious feel that I really like. This one is my favorite.

Great job!

I love that Kirby soundfont, haha. neat tracks, too. each one has a very distinct feel and both are really enjoyable. Thanks!

Love the sparse atmospheric vibes in the first track. Love the use of chromatic descent in the melody, melody reminds me of Chrono Trigger at those parts. Lost was my favorite of the two.

Decent track ! First song pretty minimalistic but worked well, watch out for the bass line using third interval on the low-end it sounds pretty bad and creates a bad dissonance. Second track was pretty cool too, some nice ideas and original intro and outro. Good job !

This was an intriguing listen. I loved the sounds used in Lost, those are some delightfully sombre synth sounds.

The beginning of Epiphany reminded me a lot of Earthbound, the whole track felt very Mother-esque, I really liked it!

I keep going back to being impressed at how music can so effectively convey so much information and set the tone so well for visuals that are completely absent (or at least exist only in our imagination). I particularly liked your second track, 'Epiphany', with its uplifting spirit and sense of renewed hope. Well done.

Great Job. Lost was super chill and awesome. I started to get lost in the music myself. Thats when I know I have been captivated.

Nice Rachmaninoff quote that I didn't see it coming at all XD

Lost gave me a Genesis feeling when I listened to it. The way you used your sounds are very creative and you have something great here!
