Description
A soundtrack for the imaginary game "Run, Run, Run," an urban exploration game about holding on, letting go, running away, and coming back. The soundtrack is meant to capture the excitement, fear, anxiety, and ultimate empowerment of running away and wandering alone in a city.
The arc of the game is captured in the song titles: the thrill of the initial escape, a train-bound chase sequence, a disturbing visit to a corner store in an unfamiliar neighborhood, an overstimulating stroll down Main street, a surreal journey through a dimly-lit park, a motivational pick-me-up from a stranger, and the invigorated rush back to comforts of home.
Every track was composed using the Korg M01D sequencer for the 3DS, and mixed in Logic X Pro.
Theme:
How does it fit the theme?
The soundtrack uses repeating motifs to tell the story of a journey away from home, getting lost in an unfamiliar place, and ultimately deciding to go back. Ursula K. Leguin said that "true voyage is return," and this soundtrack explores that theme.

This is such a quirky soundtrack. Lol. I love how bouncy your tunes are, especially On Main and Pep Talk, haha. Really put a smile on my face. Thanks!
Really cool sound choices throughout, did they all come from the 3DS?
What a fresh soundtrack! Very original and for me all sorts of new sounds! It gave me a smile listening to it, not that it's light, it has lots of depth, but the creativity jumps out of it!
This is super thematic and cohesive. I was imagining a game with stardew valley graphics set in a city with kids solving a mystery plot.
I imagined something very similar: Something that looks like it's happening in my SimCity 2000 world, but very focused on this group of kids.
nice one! I love the analog synth approach
I love how Korg M01D makes this cohesive, yet quirky. Very, very enjoyable tunes :D Also, the cover art is a minimalist delicacy, works great with the urban setting and the genre space this OST occupies. Kudos!
