Description
I made this on FL studio, tried my best to match the theme, i didn't have much time but I'm happy with it, i tried my best to imagine a scenario of the theme "runaway" and i think the songs go pretty well with it. The tracks themselves might not be great, but i had hardly any time to work on them, i gave it my all, also I'm very new to this music stuff. Thanks for reading this.
Message from the artist:
Big thanks to lone rabbit and his team for giving me this opportunity :D
Theme:
How does it fit the theme?
As mentioned above, i tried my best to imagine it, the instruments i used were pretty fitting, and so was the tempo, in my opinion.

Nice interpretation of the theme! I liked the vibes of each piece. You seem to have an interesting vision and you achieved it. Well done!
Hey thanks for taking the time to rate this, glad you liked it, yours were amazing as well! :D
Really good ! It's impressiv to see what you did in a so short time! congrats ! Honestly, there are some little things that could be improved, but the main core is there. Congratulation ^^
Thanks, and yes there is lots of room for improvement, thanks for taking the time :D
This isn't bad at all for being new to music! Some suggestions would be to try and create shorter melodies, a "motif" which will allow your track to be more memorable and catchy (as well as fit better as video game music). Longer melodies have their place, but if not done right, it ends up sounding random and lacking in structure. I really liked the backing synths here. Another tip would be to take chord progressions and try to write a repeating melody over them, with variations later on. (Of course, don't feel limited to just looping the same chords over and over!) That will assist you in making more memorable melodies! Keep it up!
Thank you so much for the constructive feedback, I'll definitely keep those in mind :)
Not bad at all! The sounds used were very good, and I especially enjoyed the feel of "Endeavor." If I was to give one piece of technical advice, it would be to make your melodies shorter and more consistent. But honestly, the most important thing is to keep making music. A lot of what I have learned about music has come from me just stumbling into it! So keep it up, and make sure to have fun with it!
Thanks for the advice, and for the rating :)
Nice! 馃榾
Thanks :D
Not so bad for a beginner. Instrumentation with the beat and synth pad was actually surprisingly good. The piano could be a good idea its just the execution is not well made, if you take a listen closely you feel like its 2 songs not working together. If you practice a bit your music theory what works with what you'll get better with time. Keep it up !
Thanks for the feedback, I'll try to improve, glad you enjoyed :)
I really liked the last section of Livin Free. thar swoosh was awesome. The piano melodies remind me a bit of a weazel :D jumping around on the keyboard (not sure if intended) it was fun but maybe try to come up with a short theme that is easier to remember. Great work overall for your first submission!
Thanks for the rating and yes I'll take that advice :D
Good Job, putting forth the effort and completing something is also just as important. especially, if you were happy with it. My favorite was Endeavour! I thought that was very fitting for the theme and left me with a smile on my face. Keep it up!
Glad you liked it:)
Even if ur new to making music, your tracks are really quite nice! Especially the first one, Livin' Free, which I enjoyed listening to a lot (the last part especially)!
If u had more time, it would have been cool to add more context on where the OSTs would be.
I hope you can improve even more if you decide to continue making more music in future, and hey, I also don't have much musical knowledge, just decided to try to make some music cus why not. For sure with more practice, your future tracks would sound way better.
Thank you so much for the feedback, and yes, I'm gonna keep improving :D
These tracks remind me when I started making music a few years back. Your instruments of choice were indeed fitting and indeed was the tempo, but there is so so sooooo much more to music and I hope you become amazed at everything you learn along the way just as I was. Great job and welcome to the world of music composition!
Thank you for taking the time to rate my submission, and I'm glad to be a part of the world of music composition :D
Hey, for one of your first forays into this 'music thing' you did a good job! You didn't just set four chords on repeat and play a melody over it: there are a number of tone shifts throughout the first track to add interest.
Track 2: this was another cool track with an interesting line and interesting harmonies. I actually quite liked it!
My only advice is to explore melodic writing next. The melodies in these two tracks are winding, and could use more shape to give the songs more structure. But, given how much time you had, you did a great job and I'm excited to see what else you make :)
Thank you for the feedback, and I'm definitely gonna take that advice, glad you enjoyed it :)
