Description
I only made one song for the game, it is the main theme that can play mainly on the menu and probably any cutscene that the game uses to show both characters together. I don't really have a story for this game, I just wanted to make something with a star and a slime.

I don't know really the genre but I used a guitar, a music box, a "slimy" synth, a lot of compressed drum sounds, a flute and a chiptune square wave. You decide what genre is this.

All sounds are free-to-use sound I found online.

My program was LMMS.

Theme:

Wish upon a star

How does it fit the theme?
Just things that I relate to stars like music boxes and flutes

This is a fun and calm theme for your adorable characters! I like the flute melody a lot - it was nice that it was a little different in the B section to make sure it didn’t sound too repetitive. My favorite instrument you used was the synth plucks with the “wah” effect such as at 0:53. I could imagine the rest of a game soundtrack being made based on this theme - making this a good main theme. Nice work and thank you for sharing!

Nice to see you here, I remember you from the Town Music Jam #2 with your 'grasslands' which I really liked!

Now, for this song: fFor the feeling it is intending to give, it succeeded :)
Though the song may be seen as a bit too simple (and lacking accompanying songs to fill the 'game' with), it does sound nice for a title-screen theme! And somehow, you made the song vary enough to not make my ears annoyed by the repetitiveness of the bass, so great job!

It's a cute song - it's got a nice progression through different parts that kept me engaged.

Sounds like maybe there's some audio clipping for some of the instruments that got a little annoying.

Nice! I like the sounds you used, it gave it a retro game feel which made it also feel nostalgic and fun.

I like the retro vibe and the way the track develops. Nice job!

I liked how the track evolved. It is a repetitive loop and it has enough variations and new instruments to make it entertaining all along, especially around 3,36,it's like a new level but it's the same piece of music.

You feel like you have a good intuitive sense of composing, this would make a great soundtrack to a puzzle kind of game, keep it up!

This is incredibly impressive! Your track would do really well to suit a cute, charming casual game; Perhaps a puzzle game, because it sounds like good thinking music. Wonderful job on this!

Slime and star, haha. what a fun idea! I like the minimalist instrumentation, though I think it could benefit from some harmonic variation. Very immersive tune. Sounds magical, too!
