Our Time on the Skyway (Daytime): This track makes me think of something that might accompany someone skipping through a busy town excitedly. The bass ostinato feels like the waves on the sea and the castanets in the background feel like the pattering of many many feet along the cobblestone walkways. This is a singable and memorable melody which earns extra points in my opinion- nice work!

Our Time on the Skyway (Nighttime): This calm version of the previous theme has such peaceful instrumentation that evokes a sense of belonging and yearning at the same time. The image evoked in my mind is a calmer sea, a quiet marketplace, a bright moon in the sky, and a few people out for slow strolls through the gentle glow of candlelight in the nearby buildings.

Sailway Traffic in the Rain: The downward stepping bassline gives this a somber and reflective mood to it. The instrument playing the melody sounds a lot like one of my favorite default Logic instruments called Oak Piano Dream Synth - this one and yours have such a distant, round, and memory-like quality to it.

The Hill that Touches the Sky: The high soft piano here gives an uplifting and hopeful feeling. I like how it builds up and gives a solid conclusion to your soundtrack. Overall I really enjoyed listening to this. Great work and thank you for sharing!

Great work! I like the way you altered the theme for daytime and nighttime. I also really enjoyed, The Hill That Touches The Sky. Nice job!

DayTime Skyway : The bells and driving rythm make me think of a lively train station swarming with interesting characters and a sense of adventure

NightTime Skyway : The place is reckognizable, but the flute harp and celesta arrangement gives me a calm and serene vibe, that fits very well an idea of the place becoming more intimate as you explore it at night

Sailway traffic in the rain : Overall a bittersweet little piece. I I like that there is a further away piano for the melody, It gives such a melancholic vibe to the track

The Hill that touches the sky : That synth was a surprise but worked very well. I would nitpick that maybe the arrangement and Ideas are a bit too similar to the third track, this track feels like a development of the previous one. That said it does feel more hopeful and resolved, like after a journey we are now at the place we wanted to be, so it works.

Great Work !

I like your day and night versions of that first piece!  It helps really define this as a game soundtrack, and although it's a bit simple in concept, it's not so easy to do well in execution.  I think you really nailed it here!  I also think that your melodies here are really defined and resounding, something that I've been a bit surprised to find has been a tad bit rare in this jam.  Great work!

Nice job turning a common theme into a nighttime and daytime version in Our Time on the Skyway. I love the harp in the night version. The piano parts in Sailway Traffic in the Rain and The Hill that Touches the Sky are wonderful. very well written soundtrack. Thanks for sharing!

The first track is just pure adventure! I love orchestral compositions that evoke this kind of vibe, you did it very well. The other tracks are much calmer but I also like them a lot, they flow very well. Great composition and mixing overall, congratulations on a great entry!

Not somebody who can write orchestral myself, but I can certainly appreciate the magnitude of that sound profile and how it matches it up with the theme here! Feel like the heavy use of piano and strings provided your tunes some real weight behind them, appropriate for something story-driven. If you do another composing jam, I'd say just aim for one track that maybe deviates from the main motif more? Otherwise don't have much else constructive to add!

great compositions! my favorites were “Our Time On The (Nighttime) Skyway” for its simplicity and charm, and “The Hill That Touches The Skyway” as it really swells nicely and has a nice storytelling arc

'The Hill That Touches The Sky' was the standout track for me as it seemed to 'reach' (pun not intended) the furthest in terms of having its own unique sound/character - so far I have heard lots of entries that seem to cover very similar musical palettes and it's a relief when I hear pieces that break away from that. I am impressed by your obvious compositional skills!

"The Hill That Touches The Sky" has such a nice feel of "coming home after a long adventure", that I really dig.  The naming of the track of course makes me imagine lying on a hill in a peaceful place, stargazing all night till I fall asleep.

Love the harp in the "Our Time On The Skyway" night version, and I can see myself exploring at night, during a very peaceful place in time.

Overall a very comfy soundtrack to relax to, that fits the theme nicely!

nice work! I think I prefer night time over daytime personally but love how both tracks relate. I like traffic in the rain most

Really nice submission. Personal favorite is "The Hill That Touches The Sky"

Hey, well done overall! Your writing was really good and I loved the overall vibe of all your tracks! The one thing I would say is that the mixing could be improved a little, mostly for (Daytime) Skyway because it's a little cluttered sounding. Even still, great job!

Great melodies, but in the Our Time on the daytime skyway ostinato stands out too much
