Description
The genre of this track is "electronic".
Summary:
Hello! I don't have an image or video of my DAW since I use a modular synth and Digitakt to compose and record my music. Therefore, I've included a video recording of this track performed on my instruments. I apologize for the line-level noise I still haven't figured out how to fix that! Thank you!
Theme:
How does it fit the theme?
When I read the theme "wish upon a star" I thought of something I would wish for and how it made me feel. I wished for something that I can't have anymore. It made me think about what other people would wish for and the different ways a wish could go wrong. I hope you enjoy this track!

Alright this was MAD cool, watching the video was so fascinating and you created such an awesome sound. Seeing all those wires and watching you work with those nobs was awesome
Thanks for including the video, this is great stuff!!
I like that you started and ended with a heartbeat sound, indicating that the theme of the track has something to do with the heart, such as the true heart’s desires. I really like these slow ambient pieces that have a long beautiful melody line. The downward falling arpeggios feel like falling stars (as others have said previously), but I think that harmonically they also add a lot of color, especially the seventh note of each 8 note run. Great work recording this and thank you for sharing!
Awesome job! Loved the video and watching you work with the hardware. The synths sounds were great and I love the sound world you built. Great work!
I love those arpeggios in the background. Subtle fairy fountain / wishing well vibes, very appropriate for falling stars or somesuch, too. Thanks for sharing!
Was a good time watching the video. Love the use of the live synth recording, and honestly the quiet background noise just adds to that old-school authenticity for me lol. Great work, cool track!
Okay so I started with the sound cloud version, but I had to see the video on this. This is really cool! I don't know much about hardware and am only just getting into really simple analog and hybrid synths, so all of this is still way above me but It's really awesome to see still. Props and awesome work!
I watched the video too. Mad respect for you heros who work with hardware. I have no idea what that mess of cables does but it's just beautiful. The track itself flows well and is almost hypnotic. Very good entry!
Had to actually download a submission for once, because I really wanted to see the video recording, that is really sweet! :D You have produced some good sounds here, it all glues together well.
I like the ostinato in the background, like a twinkling stars, maybe just like the pattern, they're falling down, and so people are making their wishes (with good and bad outcomes).
i love the synth sounds and the way they twinkle like falling stars! i hoped there would be a sort of development of either the soundscape or dynamics in the middle, but overall the feel is really spot on and very pleasant :)
Great job! I like the synth sounds you came up with, and the melodies are lovely!
I like the heart beat, makes it feel more personal, especially given your game idea! One small nitpick is that its slightly repetitive, but other than that its really cool!
The feeling of bitter wishing for impossible things is there for me ! Good job :)
