Really neat tracks! love how retro they sound, I can picture myself playing a classic game as a kid with these songs blasting in the background! amazing job :)

VERY COOL sound combinations!! I love dissonance this creates in Distant Skies.

In the other hand, I like the color contrast you achieved in Storm's Rambling regarding the first track. In my opinion at 1:40, 1:55 in the second track, It was a great aesthetic decision.

WONDERFUL!!

It was epic, interesting and with its own interesting style!

But I would advise you to diversify the melodies a little, heh) (Although I have a problem with this myself)

I like that they loop well!

I like and I like that it is loopable, I think however that it would improve from a bit variation, varying up the melody or dums perhaps.

Nice job on your tracks! I agree they don’t fully fit the theme, but considering you’re just starting out, this is really impressive. I loved the melodies and mood you created. For next time, try to align more with the theme and adjust the mix to bring out more detail. Keep it up—you’re off to a great start

Day 5 of Rating Submissions With Few Ratings to Hopefully Get Some In Return

The overall instrumentation and soundscape feels very appropriate for the type of game you´re going for. I would have like some more variation on a structural level, with more contrasting sections and maybe fewer straight up loops.

As much I liked the fact that the song can be loopable and the ideas you represented in the song, but I'd like to see more of what you're envisioning, like more of the story and stuff, regardless good stuff

You got some cool stuff going here with these two tracks! I like your instrument choices and your melodies a lot, and Storm's Rambling especially does a great job of capturing a tense atmosphere. The mixing on this is overall way too quiet to my ears, I'd like to hear most of everything come up so I can hear a lot of the richness of the instrumentation more. I think in your first track you could also explore some new loops & sounds - you do an awesome job of layering in a lot of different stuff in the second track, however!

Looking forward to more from you!

Thanks so much for taking the time to comment! I'm not extremely experienced with producing music, so I truly do appreciate it. I'll definitely keep the advice in mind for upcoming projects! 😁

nice song

The songs are nice but I don't think that getting us to envision our own world is in line with the theme of the Jam. I want you to take me inside your world. transport me to a new world with your music and story.

The music was still quite nice however.

Ah, yes; I didn't think of that. Thanks for letting me know. I'll remember that for the future. 😉
