These are awesome! They're so cinematic, I can really see the picture you're painting of this magical library. Your mixing is fantastic, you really use instruments in space very well and your layering of the synths with traditional orchestration fits super super well. I'd love to hear if you expand on this soundtrack at all - I'm wanting to dive into some books and hear the different soundscapes you come up with for the lives of these people! You've done a great job painting a strong picture of the game concept and making me want more!

This is cool! Wasn't expecting the spoken word and singing halfway through the first track, but the acting is superb on it! Very unique take for a main game theme. I love the synths you've chosen and your placement of instruments in the mix is really cool. It reminds me of a modern take on an SNES era game, especially the second track!
The sung vocal & spoken word get a little lost in the mix at the end of the first track when all the instrumentation kicks back in, makes it a little hard to parse the lyrics. That's basically my only complaint about any of the mixing, though - you've achieved a really atmospheric set of recordings with your mix choices!
I love the opening and ending to this! You're playing with some super cool sounds and synths, and your melody to kick us off is memorable and melancholy, and transitions nicely into the breakbeat section. I love what you've done with the synths and the breaks, but I think the mix on the primary synth is a bit overpowering to my ears. Other than that, I really like the journey of this song - it's very unique!
Hey fellow Cubase-ian! :3 You've got some really charming tracks here! The tinkling synths and the melodies remind me a lot of Animal Crossing, and you've done a lot of cool stuff with layering synths and tossing the melody around to different places!
I'd love to hear a little more in the mix for all these tracks - it sounds like most stuff is primarily just down the center (at least to my ear!) and I think you can play around with placing instrumentation in your tracks to enhance your layering even more. Keep at it, you're doing great!
This is CRUNCHY! Love the synths you've chosen here and your mixing and layering are awesome. The cyberpunk atmosphere is super strong with all three of these and paint an excellent picture of your vision for the scifi planet. I could see this for a classic Doom like 100%, especially in like a 2D-HD retropixel style. I would love to hear more and to hear some of these tracks continue to develop - that second one ends so early especially, I'm waiting for even more of a beat to drop!
This is really really well done! You have so many creative choices in here, and the journey through Judgement -> Final Battle is not only really well done and clearly thought out, but takes us to so many unexpected places! Your instrumentation choices & mixing are also awesome. I would love to hear more of this soundtrack!
This is some really tightly made EDM! I love all your synth choices and your instrumentation and mixing are super super clean. I think you've done a great job writing some awesome tunes and they fit together really well (especially with the longform mix, love it). What I am missing is the vision of what the game this goes with is all about - it's hard for me to tie it to the theme of going into my world since I don't know where we are!
I don't think you need to sell yourself short as a composer tho - you're showing off some great chops here!
You got some cool stuff going here with these two tracks! I like your instrument choices and your melodies a lot, and Storm's Rambling especially does a great job of capturing a tense atmosphere. The mixing on this is overall way too quiet to my ears, I'd like to hear most of everything come up so I can hear a lot of the richness of the instrumentation more. I think in your first track you could also explore some new loops & sounds - you do an awesome job of layering in a lot of different stuff in the second track, however!
Looking forward to more from you!
This is such an awesome soundtrack!! You show off so many different styles and you've managed to find some REALLY cool sounds for some of your instruments! That vocal in the beginning of Spirit Warden is SO good. I also really just love what you've done with the layering of instruments, and you have an EXTREMELY good ear for melody - these hooks are all catchy as heck! Thank you so much for sharing, it's a gem of a submission!
This is all absolutely top notch! Really lovely laying of instruments and orchestration, and the melodies are distinct and lovely. Extremely evocative of the classic JRPG era - I definitely would love to play this game and see what dialogue & scenes are tied in to each of these songs, especially the very emotional ones! I'm also impressed with how many musical styles you are able to play with here, and fully successfully each time!
The only track that doesn't work for me is Cephalopod Shuffle - not because I don't love the track (it's a banger!) but because it's just TOO CHARMING for a battle theme! xD
Awesome work all around!
This is lovely! It's extremely cinematic, and I can hear the story themes you've described woven into the orchestration choices. I can also hear SO many influences from lots of different genres & composers, especially some romantic period piano in the first couple of tracks, which is super cool! The latter half really reminds me of the works of Hisaishi with Miyazaki also. You're showing off a lot of impressive compositional and orchestration chops here and I think it works really really well! Thanks for sharing!
Love the dark techno vibes of this! Trapped and Hunted and Breaking the Illusion are both standouts, and I like the use of the theme from Trapped and Hunted as your intermission transition with the simpler synths. Would love to see some other musical themes worked in to the journey, cause you have nailed the style and soundscapes and I'd be interested to see how you would meld themes together! Overall I think you connect to the theme really well with a super cohesive vision. Thanks for sharing!
Love the soundscapes you paint here! Your instrument choice and layering are really top notch, and evoke the different feels of the ocean extremely well. The transition from the feel of the land based first track to the rest of it is also really cool. And thank you for the art and story beats! You've married those together really well!
