Description
I used FL Studio (Fruity Edition) for this track, with mostly free plugins as instruments (except for the flutes, those were FL Studio FLEX presets). It leans more towards the Orchestral or Classical-like genre. I tried to go for a soft or calm lullaby like quality, with the soft piano and flute as the core parts of the song. The piano part was inspired by a piece of classical music: Mendelssohn's Songs Without Words in E Major op. 19 #1. The flute part was my attempt at creating a calm melody. I was also influence by fantasy game music (specifically music I've heard in Dragonfable), which is why I used cello and string instruments later on the track to break up the monotony.

Message from the artist
I made this song with a clear ending section, but I realized that I could make a loopable version of this track (which might be easier to fit in the context of a game). I decided against that due to minimum runtime issues, but I might add that to the project later on, after the jam is done.

I couldn't really come up with a good title for this thing :/ .

How does it fit the theme?
I initially went for the picture theme, and tried to include a sort of lullaby-like feel to the track. I ended up adding more instruments to the track which I believe shifted the track more towards the text theme in spirit (the strings give it a more fantasy game vibe in my opinion). But the core of the track, the melody and piano track, which I tried to make have a soft, lullaby-like quality is how I tried to fit the track to the theme. This part is focused on at the end of the track, which I think exemplifies what I was going for in this track.

AAH, I LOVE THIS CUTE COVER ART.

This track gave me a strange feeling of nostalgia for places where I had never been... It's curious...

I liked the nostalgic melody!

Thanks)

This is a very serene piece, and it feels like I would expect the image to sound; nice work!

very peaceful.

This is a very pleasant and soothing piece. The instrumentation is mixed well and blends together nicely, although I found the overall mix to be a bit too quiet. The song could use more rhythmic variation to make it stand out after the initial melodic idea is established. Good job on this, keep it up!

MENDELSSOHN MENTIONED (love seeing people get inspired by classical music)

This is a beautiful piece. Simple but effective instrumentation.

I would only suggest a bit more harmonic development in the middle for more variety. Great job!

Very soothing to listen to! I kinda wanted some more interplay between instruments, but as a lullaby, it's great!

The composition creates a majestic atmosphere, and the double bass adds a deep texture to it, which I very much enjoy!!

Hey Euclid, this is a super pretty song! Nice and simple, yet quite relaxing. Could definitely hear the classical inspiration in this. Hope to hear more from you in the future!
