Description
Two songs composed using the beautiful art drawn by @kawakaar._ given as a promp in the OST Composition Jam #7 hosted by Lone Rabbit.

The idea behind both was to make a solemn soundtrack for a calm and dream-like narrative game with orchestration and many different instruments.

The DAW used in the production of both songs was FL Studio.

Message from the artist
This was my first time participating in this Jam and it was so much fun, looking forward for next editions!!

Theme

Picture theme

How does it fit the theme?
The image theme showed a very calming and dream-like image of a girl in a fantastical sea, because of that I decided to take that idea and make a sountrack for a solemn, calm and whimsical exploration/adventure game

Heh... Water time!

...and I liked this water time!

Loved the orchestration in the second track!

Lovely pieces, very smooth and evocative - well done!

really nice steel drum in the second track!

Roaring Sea - feels like a deep understanding of how the waveform used is -sculpted- then rises out of a sound-effect oriented start into a melodic middle.  Super cool business.  Even though the first track ends abruptly i can -feel- the quality level in that.  Resting shore - combines simplicity and effectiveness, i'm pretty pleased with the echoing tone used.

Overall this was a great submission to rate, and I hope you continue to do excellent things.

Loved the vibe you capture in Resting Shore! Subtle, mysterious, goes perfect with cover art AND...very well crafted!!!

You've done a great job!

I liked when the string section started doing variations on the melody in "Roaring Sea", though the song was a bit repetitive before that. I also felt the contrabass could've been a little louder when it comes in.

"Resting Shore" calls back to the main melody of "Roaring Sea", but has more variation. Sparing use of percussion really works well in the context of this song. I like the instrument selection.

Chill ambient underwater tracks, very lovely ^^

Maybe you should work on the mix who gets really muddy in the 2nd track!

Good job ;)

The sounds you chose for the first song "Resting Shore" are very beautiful and fit very well with the theme of the jam.

I like it. Defiantly is different indeed! Its good and sure does seem very sea like. Good job!

The orchestration in Roaring Sea is pretty good! Nice progression throughout and a good evolution from just the guitar in the beginning. I also like how Resting Shore is almost minimalistic in comparison to the first track - a nice dichotomy in what each piece evokes. Clever use of titles to sell that, too. Good work!
