Message from the artist:
I always challenge myself to only use real instruments and to record myself playing them in those jams. This thime, the theme 'Cyberpunk' kinda pushed my limits.

Woah props for the real musical approach and a live recording, that's really cool. The composition is quite nice, and even with the acoustic instruments sounds fitting. Good job!

Hello fellow Musescore user! I love the live adaptation, and despite using acoustic instruments you still conveyed the cyberpunk feeling with the fast and low bass on the piano and the drum kit. Super cool and super creative!

Haha, fellow Musescore user, gave me a laught!

Anyhow, thanks!

I really like how it has a good sense of urgency. Lots of forward momentum in the song. Very cool to actually submit a live recording and well played too. Great work!

Funnily enough that messed up with me a lot and I had to rerecord a lot of times because I kept playing too fast at times.

Thanks!

Live recording is cool and I love that you posted a video for it. I think for live instruments, you still managed to nail the Cyberpunk feel with the dark piano ostinato. Nice work!

I thought the upright piano and drums gave this a unique vibe.

Oh wow, live video! Sick!

Really excited to hear other folks using live recordings in their submissions – I know how annoying it can be!

I really like the low bass parts on the piano! They give me FF7 midgard vibes.

I would have loved to hear just a bit more processing on the drums and piano. For example, I think running the lower bass piano parts through some saturation to accentuate the low-end and add extra sparkle would be really cool!

With these recordings, I usually try to make as little changes to the audio as possible (this time even without any effects, only volume).

Imma try your tip later out and see if it sounds, could be cool. Thanks!

I can only agree with the other comments! Really great composition and although you went for a different approach than most. it still gives me those cyberpunky vibes. Pluspoints for playing it live. Good job!

Absolute props for recording it live and aparently in a single take for each instrument, even if you didn’t have to!

Developer(+1)

Single take is very important to me! After all, I have to show off my stuff here hehe. Thanks!

Sounds more like "jazzpunk" to me, but thats fine, it got groove!

I think it's neat that you can still get the song sounding "cyberpunky" with an acoustic piano. Good job!

very unique submission, i love it! i particularly enjoyed seeing the live performance it added a lot to it and it was nice to see the sheet music too, very good technical playing on the piano also

I’m really impressed with you playing the instruments! I think it turned out really well!! I like the piano ostinatos that repeated throughout, they really set the vibe!
