Description
We made this quick as duck, but fl studio was used, Vatten anka made mix and raxxo made melody.
The game is about exploration in fantastical forest with always odd things happening. You're a young druid, learning of the forest and it's inhabitants. One day you will safekeep it, but first you have to truly understand it. Nature is unpredictable on the other hand, so will you ever truly accomplish your task? And is there truly only ONE forest?
Artist comment:
We tried making something real real quick, but the truth is, we forgor
Theme:
How does it fit the theme?
What seemed like one forest becomes two as you get lost in the forest thinking the one you entered is the same forest you are in now, the music changes, but you don't think too much about it at first

Love the atmosphere of mystery and intrigue, lots of great textures
Thank you for listening! :)
Magical sound and solid contrast between sections!
Thank you! It helps having a decent arsenal at hand :)
Really liked the use of orchestral elements. The strings, woodwinds and bells gave the track a sort of mysterious, fairy-tale atmosphere which I thought sounded pretty interesting and fit the given description pretty well. Nice job!
Thank you! I am glad to hear it came together well :)
Very nice work and magical atmosphere!
Thank you ! :D
Nice job! I feel like you both did a great job representing the theme, and your composition was very well done!
Thank you! ^^ It was a fun collaboration. :)
Fantastic! I can definitely picture the forest here even though you're using strings on top of woodwinds, little that I know it actually can work :D I love the pizzicato tremollo. May I know if it's a preset articulation or did you plot a lot of notes manually? Nice use of... um... church bells? It sounds very full and rich, like you're using a church reverb hehe. Well done mate! Amazing job!
Hahah, I am definitely no music theory expert, I know the concept of letting strings and woodwinds take their turns and let the other through, but perhaps it works better here because they're both not very busy, and the mandolin carries the brunt of the melody? Speaking of the mandolin, the tremollo it gives are individual notes and not a preset articulation in fact! :) Glad you liked the tubular bells as well hahaha
Thank you for listening! :D
Have to thanks my submission queue, this one is pretty neat. It's nice to discover different universes and both composition and mixing/mastering are great! Congratulations to have made it in time
Thank you for your kind words! Glad you liked it!
