Message from the artist
I have midterms so I couldn't put much time into this one :_(. For the prompt, I thought of games with unique time mechanics and wanted to make something vaguely sci-fi/physics-y sounding. I also made it symmetrically out of loops that themselves are all symmetrical.

Difficulty

B (Hard)

Make a piece that has the same musical notes both forwards and backwards but doesn’t have to be an identical recording.

Really nice work here, very good textures.

I liked this song a lot! It reminded me of the bug fables OST, specifically the Termite Capitol which was really cool!

Like the synth texture you chose, the arp motif works well for forward backward, good choice. Nice job.

Really dig the percussive elements bouncing around and creating that sense of movement - really drew me into the wonderful synth elements. I definitely get the sci-fi physics vibe from it!

Can't really point my finger on what it reminds me to. But it was definitely something I was fond of. Very cool buildup and sound choice. Only complaint is, that I now need more of this :D. Thanks for sharing.

I'm the same - I feel like it's maybe giving me some FTL vibes but I think I can't quite think of what it reminds me of either.

That was a lot of fun, I really like the panned elements popping and ticking in the background, nice ear candy. definitely has a nice looping feel that could sit pleasantly in the background of a puzzle/platformer. solid work!

I like that palindrome arpeggio. Very satisfying instrumentation. I could really hear this in a puzzle game. Nice work!

The arpeggio is pretty groovy.

Great entry! Love the choice of instruments on this one.
