I got the cheese!! And it only cost me my head xD

I loved it, it reminded me a bit of Turbo Dismount with the mannequin losing body parts. Super fun!

I may be an headless, armless, legless husk.
But who got the cheese ?

Developer(+1)

Going torso-mode is a pro gamer strategy

Crazy game! I like the ragdoll physics and how you can keep jumping even without head, the music fits like a glove!

Developer

Thank you! When it comes to cheese rolling, it's little about what the head wants: it's all about what the heart wants. Thus, the brain has nothing to do with taking another leap. Regarding the music, Metallica started playing from one of our playlists while we realised how well that type of music fit the chaos haha!

Very crazy game, “silly” (in positive way). Unironically, I love music, especially this one during a race xD

Developer(+1)

Thanks! We glad you like the music too. I've told the story a few times in comments but it was inspired by one of our playlists putting Metallica on while we were testing as we noticed how perfectly it matched the game. Say hi to Stefan for us!

Submitted(+1)

Almost forgot about this… Although Stefan cannot say “hi” (because he’s a rabbit and rabbits cannot speak), I’ll leave here it’s latest photo when my he’s eating his snack.

Special for you!

Fun to play ! I would have liked either an indication of where the cheese was or a better camera angle

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing and for the feedback!

You don't actually need to get to the cheese first. We borrowed the rule from actual cheese rolling where all you have to do is cross the finish line before the other contestants. Including this information explicitly in the game, or including an arrow at the start to indicate the race direction more clearly might be a good idea if we end up working more on this.

So funny, controls dont really have much effect, but love the effects.  Just fun to play.

Developer (1 edit)

Thank you! For an extra boost to controls, try jumping either left or right - there's a little boost that helps you dodge and can help separate you from the pack quickly.

I got the cheese!! :D

Really cool with the ragdoll physics. Music adds a lot as well!

Developer(+1)

Congrats! Fun fact: the world record holder for cheese rolling that the art is based on has got the cheese 23 times but doesn't even like it.

The music was almost an accident - we were listening to a playlist when Master of Puppets came on during a test and we realised what we had to do.

Submitted(+1)

the audio choice is top notch

Developer

Thanks! We actually kinda stumbled into the music idea when the playlist we had on while working put Master of Puppets on and we realised how well it matched the carnage!
