Took me a minute to understand what I needed to do but a quick read of your submissions got me on the right track!

Ok! Game has a great atmospheric vibe. The wonders of space or of the ocean are always such a vibe. Great SFX, intro music, and feeling of vastness. The low poly art style and modeling and texturing are great. I like the fogginess of the scene and collecting the shells to replenish oxygen is a good mechanic. I never got all the barrels, because I kept dying pretty sure my pathing was incorrect to keep my O2 levels up. Overall I think this is an unique submission and really enjoyed my time in this world.

Great job!

oh my goodness thank you so much what amazing compliments :D the difficulty spike of barrels that are more distant from the diving bell did end up pretty high hehe. Ty so much for playing!

What an atmosphere!! Lovely music to fit! Definitely appreciate the Lethal company style as well :D

The controls were a little frustrating for me, felt like half the time I was either firing things not where I wanted to or zooming in a direction that wasn't where I thought I was pointing. That and not really being able to aim upwards to scoop up previous resoures.

The gameplay itself was interesting. It had a claustrophobic feeling despite it being a wide open ocean space and the darkness made you feel something might be lurking out there which added a certain tension to it even without the air supply.

Developer (1 edit)

When not in aim mode, your tools will fire and move in the direction your player is facing! I’m sorry for not explaining that better D: I’m glad you enjoyed the suspense, I will definitely have to add spooky stuff waiting for you in the fog after the jam c:

Awesome game, visuals and atmosphere! There were some slight freezes in the beginning (although to be fair I am running on a laptop), but the visuals (which I assume is the culprit) totally make up for it. Good stuff!

Developer

Awwww thank you so much! C: I’ll try to incorporate settings for different types of LOD in the future o7

A well styled game but could not beat it due to performance issues. The air tank is difficult to manage and killed me a couple of times, ended up pushing the divers bell to the barrels instead but frame rate drops kept happening.

Developer

I’m sorry to hear about the performance issues! The game is optimized to run well on most devices, but may struggle on some laptops. Clever thinking to bring your diving bell to the objective 😉
