  • Really fantastic experience. Great use of the theme and a narrative that dives into the negative impacts of social media. Really good example of doing a LOT with a little. Awesome job over all, don't stop working on this.
  • Played the game. It is really stable and polished on web version. Did noticed some lags some times, but that is to expected. I noticed there were an visual bug with main character can stand on NPC's head, which makes me suspect there probably are an issue with the Z-index. GDD was a little hard to find, but managed to find it. Seems good. Would love more concept art and more thoughts on the mechanics of the game.
  • Hard to put into a lot of words, but great style and art, and the way this ties back into the theme makes it all the more fun to play and recommend to others to try out as well!
  • I love psychological horror games and this was a great experience. Playability: The game is polished, plays great and makes the same environments unique every loop. This game does a lot with a little and manages to make it not repetitive. Theme: The narrative in this game perfectly encapsulates what I hoped to see out of this theme, innovative and yet true to the core of the theme. Cleverness: I love the techniques you can employ to eliminate the husks and how dangerous they become as the game progresses. I would have liked to see just a little more of this, in any case very well executed. Artistic Style: The aesthetics of this game are cute yet completely catch you off guard after the first loop. The music is also REALLY good. Props to you guys. Phenomenal work! Keep kicking ass!
  • What started out quite slow and lacking energy, quickly took a turn into something much more foreboding and interesting, before falling completely flat at the end, abandoning the style entirely and simply explaining the message outright to the player. A shame, because it was almost endearing enough narratively to carry the mediocre gameplay. Almost.

Tell us about your game!
Dialogue heavy, top down controls, social media mechanic to direct NPCs away from spots, hostiles you need to avoid, possible to run away from them but difficult if you can't find a corner. Play in browser

I already wrote this comment on the...umm....page where you can play the game--but i'm writing it here too.

I finished playing your game~~ I've gotten the ice cream girl to her friend by letting her get stuck at the g'bage and then trigger her again a second time. Found a new strategy where i stack two tables on top of each other on the long hallway and slowly push them so the fanatic algorithm slaves are slowly pushed along like a tidal wave.

the...last level? its too dark that i cannot see anything. I had to just replay it over and over again. the falling hole mechanic is such a fun little doodle-bob. I couldn't try this because after awhile its just too much to restart all over BUT--can you make a *hole* fall down a *hole*? Its so satisfying to hear them "frummmm". The girl in the library said that 'not moving' makes it stop chasing you....but it doesn't...do that? was that intended? The world building and character dialogue is amaze-zing except the whole...overall plot of having an algorithm master feels--too game-like. Nevertheless, it is a game jam and trying to apply a more complex embodiment of society would require more detail.

I guess I'm dumb... I never made it past the fountain! This looks very impressive, smooth controls and mechanics, and great looking art. Well done!

Congratulations on your first game! Loved the concept, the changing level and the message at the end. The game did not work for me in Librewolf (Firefox), but when I switched to Chrome it worked without any issues or bugs. Well done!

I like the gradual change of vibes, the screenshot mechanics look interesting to keep exploring, I like how the game has some dangers but is not hard at all, and the final message about connecting with friends is touching, great job.

Interesting concept! I encountered a few bugs, but I enjoyed the ideas, and overall vibe! A great entry!

Was unclear on what I could take photos of. Unique puzzle design. I also like the repeated levels design. Good job

A game with a lot of style and a pretty cool commentary on social media, definitely an interesting take on the theme. The gameplay was fun, with it building up over time though the photo taking part of it became less and less required as time went on since eventually I just kited the enemies round a hole to get them in there. Everything worked together well from the art style to the music, and for a first game y'all have made it was an amazing first, you should all be proud of this.
