  • When fighting Loki, I could spawn infinite bricks. The damage was too low for the reward and there wasn't any threat. I liked your GDD. Keep it going!

That visual effect for the pillar in the lava level is awesome.  Neat game :)

its very pretty >< i love the style, i tried the test scene, i think you could set it up to be its own little area instead of things placed around the room, i also wasn't sure how to get out of the area so i had to exit the game and go back in. keep up the good work !

Thanks for playing!
The test scene was actually just the scene I used for debugging, so it was designed for me, who knows where everything in there is :P. There's actually a button that opens a bunch of portals that go different places (some not used in the "final game")

I like it! Its fun to run around and shoot bricks, and the environment is fun to look at.

I got pretty lost on this one.  I like the art and it feels like you have a lot in place but I had a hard time figuring out what to do.  It looks like there is a lot to mess with in the shop and the wand modifications but I felt like I was getting killed too fast to mess with it.  I'll give it another try if there's obvious stuff I missed.

This is a very solid game, the (what appears to be cell-shaded) art is beautiful and tasteful but doesn't seem to be used throughout which is a detriment to it's appeal. You've taken inspiration from Noita, but it feels much more at home with a game like Dungeon Defenders, given the way you navigate the map and fight enemies to defend a point on the map.

Right now, the game is lacking in its own identity. The only thing I have to understand what is going on with these many things happening is the summary given on this page. That, along with understanding what all of the purchasable upgrades do (if they are functional right now) and making all of the available wands capable of something even if it is just a slower brick would be a great step forward.

Thanks for playing!

It's interesting you say that the toon shading isn't used throughout considering it's literally placed on every object, my thought is that it's possible that the fog detracts from it due to the gradient.

And the Shade Cards are functional, I just happened to add them in.. the last 3 hours and didn't finish their implementation, completely.

Anyways, very good review, thanks!
