- Very unique concept of transmuting metals to utilize different properties. Had a lot of fun playing with magnetism and conductivity. The shadow theme fell a bit flat, but otherwise was enjoyable.
- I found the way you presented everything about your game to be done quite nicely. For starters, the art style and music were done well; catchy music to listen to while taking in the environment. Plus, the animations for the puzzles were very creative. I found the controls a bit tough to grasp at first, but after a bit of trial and error, I was able to get the hang of things. Though I will say, I'm not the best at platformers (let alone them mixed with puzzles, so I've got some work to do getting through these levels). In regards to the themes, I was easily able to pick up on the implementation of both. From my time playing, my interpretation of shadow was 'elemental effects' and for alchemy it was 'transformation'. Both of which tied very nicely back to the way the game needed to be played in order to solve each level/puzzle. This is something I would return to, testing my abilities with what you presented. Overall, a great job done here. Keep up the good work!

The game is about an alchemist who is infiltrating a facility owned by a shadow government known as "The Projection" who has torn the natural resources from the world for their own economical gain, destroying the world in the process.
You traverse puzzles and platforming challenges with the ability to transmute between gold, iron, and copper, using these forms to interact with magnets, electricity, and other mechanics all in the goal of reaching the Flame of Palingenesis, an artifact that burns things to ashes and rebirths them anew.

I kinda got stuck on level 3 as it seems to require some fast left and right clicking which resulted in me leaving the page. Other than that, I liked the mechanic with the 3 different metal types!
I’m sorry to hear you couldn’t get past level 3. I’ve heard of many problems that arise from that one part, and I’m definitely gonna change it up as I continue to work on the game!
Cool game , nice crisp clean mechanics and puzzles, also a unique take on the theme
A fantastic looking puzzle/platformer with some of the most well thought out and cool mechanics I've seen!
Firstly let me just point out that I almost immediately found a cheese in that you can jump as you are rising on the weighted blocks and it sends you SUPER HIGH. This isn't much of an issue until you get to the 2nd last level where you can just skip most of the level and go straight to the door.
The game looks great, the pixel art is 10/10 and the design of the character, props and environment items are all extremely easy to read and communicate the intent and goal very well. I was a little confused then I first started the game as I changed to gold and couldn't jump past the first little tutorial message. Once I realised changing has an effect on the characters movement though it was quickly resolved without further issues.
The audio is great across the board, very chiptune/retro with some crunchy SFX in there.
The puzzles were a lot of fun too, not to difficult either and had a really steady and well planned increase to the mechanic complexity. Besides the aforementioned cheese there weren't any mechanical issues. I did find the return to the original "charge point?" particularly hard on level 5 though, the first gold/spring trap seems to move much faster than the one later in the level and I died quite a few times.
I really enjoyed the changing metallic properties of the character it would be awesome to see it expanded in the future if you decide to develop the game further or add more levels. I had a lot of fun with this.
This is a really cool take on alchemy! I love that the mechanics actually match the theme and that there is a logical explanation for them. It was kinda difficult to control the character in the air, and I kinda missed an indicator what the order of the metals was. I kept forgetting it :p It also took me way too long to figure out that gold is heavier and that I had to switch from Iron to copper to go up the portals ..
Really polished creative game, thanks for the fun!
Great game, very fun puzzles!
Cute looking transmuting potato guy. The game is fun and quite diffult for me, I kept clicking the wrong transmutation cus' I'm dumb xD
Keep up the good work !
This game is awesome! Perfect execution of a game and really fun to play, I had a "Oh man this is cool" moment when I realised I could launch myself on the gold platforms hahahah
I would love to see this continued and can defo see this being a steam release in the future :)
you have no idea how much those compliments mean to me, thank you very much for the kind words! I’m glad the gold platforms gave you that “aha moment” that’s exactly what I was hoping for!
This concept is brilliant, really great puzzles. Love it. The graphics fit very well with the game.
this is such a clever concept - the puzzles are satisfyingly sophisticated, and the movement feels really nice! fyi, it's pretty easy to accidentally lose by touching the side of a platform while you're descending on a gold platform (i'm assuming this triggers the same condition as hitting your head while you're ascending), but it ultimately didn't get in the way too much.
nicely done!
Thank you so much for the kind words! I previously realized that the problem with dying while descending on a gold platform existed, and am trying to fix that before the jam ends :)
