- A really neat puzzle platformer, Really like the art direction and style. Music was on brand for the visual theme, and the sound effects where funny, especially the shambling. The puzzles where fun and engaging with it only being held back by the clumsiness of some of the objects. movement was frustratingly slow on some things making it a almost an necessity to mash A or D repeatedly just to move an inch like a pseudo QTE segment. The GDD is well laid out with everything object being properly explained and showing a visual aid for the mechanic. The only thing really missing is the planning for future development. A Solid game, with lots of room to grow and improve on. Keep up the fantastic work!

Summarise your game!
SWNW (\sunu\) is a puzzle platformer in which you can transfer your consciousness to inanimate objects to control them, creating a path for your character to escape the temple.
- Use your mouse to select an object to move to. Has to be on reach!
- A D for direction input, space or E for action (the pharaoh will jump or open the door if it's in it. But other objects may do different things!)
- Spam A or D to tear down statues more easily!
- R to restart the level
- Q to adopt the pharaoh back
- SHIFT or RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON for zooming out
- ESC, P or ENTER to go to the pause menu
- F1 to skip to next level (Just in case, judges!! ;))
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
Theme interpretation: The player controls different objects that use them as instruments to clear the path and reach the end of the room. These instruments are "weapons" and when you possess them, "you are the weapon".
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
Thanks for everything, I hope nothing breaks!

Finally completed the game, as a puzzle game lover, this is surely a great puzzle patformer! Love the art style, the concept, and, most important of all, the levels as well. I think the difficulty is a bit easier but still provides a decent challenge. A bit of criticism on the game would be it's a bit difficult to understand what A and D do initially, and without the hint stating (spamming A/D on some cases), I would have thought you really need to shake A and D to make it fall, which is way harder and not too fun to achieve. But other than that, the game is very solid, and I like it very much! Well done!
What an Insightful comments, thanks!
I totally get about the A / D for statues. Between you and me... it was unintended xDD
My initial idea was that you had to shake A and D to make it fall as you say. But I discovered (unintended consequence) that you can spam one of A and D to make statues fall easier, and I did that through the entire development process, forgetting that I had to polish that and make the statues easier to tilt and to forbid A or D spamming. I just spammed all the time to go faster when testing. When they let us change the game, is the first thing I will fix.
Anyways, thanks a lot and I really hope you enjoyed anyways!
Honestly, I got pretty hooked trying to beat some levels—I loved it. I really like the mechanic of possessing objects one after another, as well as the hint that shows you're nothing more than a spirit alongside the dead pharaoh. I love those details.
I missed a more natural tutorial on how to possess things, but you indeed figure it out quickly since the interaction is super simple.
Great job!
thanks a lot <3
This was a really cool puzzle game! I really liked the more difficult stuff towards the end too which got my brain thinking. I think maybe a bit better tutorializing would be good cuz I would've really struggled without you giving me hints sometimes while I was playing it. But I totally get not having a ton of time to add in depth tutorials for a jam submission. Great work on this I enjoyed it a lot!
Thank you very much <3. Yes, more tutorials and more organic should have been there!
Pretty interesting, I really didn't know what I was supposed to do with the tall statues. I thought maybe make them fall over? But I couldn't make them fall for some reason. Great start for a potential bigger game and a good entry too :D
Yeah, some are a little bit difficult to move, but spamming A or D helps a lot. Thanks for playing!
I had a bit of trouble with some puzzles but overrall I have enjoyed my time with this game! The relationship between scenario and character is fun :)
The game canvas is far too large to not pop out into a separate window. Otherwise I love this!
OK this game is REALLY cool. I had a lot of fun possessing different objects and I like how they take a little bit of effort to get moving, like jars and statues. It all makes for a rather goofy puzzle game and I very much appreciate that. Great art too! Amazing job!
