I had to read other's comments to actually figure out how to play, but I really like the concept. With some polish, this could turn out pretty nice with a vibe like Osmos. 🫧

At first I didn’t pay attention to the title, and assumed that you had to use your own seconds as ammo to reduce the ones on the other blob. The gameplay my imaginary version of your game resulted in, allowed me to go reasonably far into the actual game. – I like your idea better though.

It’s a bit hard to balance (ha) the accelerometer with the d-pad, and I think the blobs & ‘sec’s would stand out a bit better if the background was ‘grey’/dithered – bit neither is really that much of a problem honestly.

If I could change only one thing, I’d put the leftover time on the blobs.

If anything, this gives me an idea of what it must be like for anyone else to play one of my games.

A very interesting take on the theme and good use of the accelerometer, although I did find it quite hard to understand what I needed to do!

took me a second to figure out but I enjoyed having a game with accelerometer controls! the music was bumping too and sometimes the transition from the music when needing to crank transitioned really well back into that jam

Interesting resource management game. You control one circle by tilting and the other randomly moves around. I had fun with this once I got a hang of it. I like the idea of sharing your life total between your character and an NPC. Forcing you to balance taking care of yourself while not letting the NPC die. The soundtrack was fun and nice to listen to while playing as well! Very fun use of the prompt ⚪⚫

Thanks for this nice comment. Time shared name is inspired of the processor strategy name time-shared operating system.
I think you could subread the idea of dedicate time to a thing (as creator, i see that as time goes by to jam, time i have for this game =) )
Happy you have a good xp with the soundtrack and the overall !

I had some good fun trying to move the ball around on the console and collecting the goal. I found that moving the accelerometer was a great use for this game and it overall felt great!

I also wanted to provide some feedback as well

- the "dark level/background" is a little hard to read what is happening in the game. I think the lighter background is much easier to read the text under the bubbles.

- there seems to be a bug where the  player could keep playing even after losing. But it does seem that the new high score will not increase after losing.

- feeding points to the black balls seems to take away from the fun of the game and maybe the game could be better balanced by having the black ball decrease slower or having an ultimate goal of filling a tank or some container. An idea could be picking apples and putting them in a truck. or cleaning up oil bubbles but the container its being held in is leaking.

Overall great use of the playdates controls and I found it fairly fun. Just needs some bug  fixes.

Thanks for this great feedback ! I try to fit the theme with a really simple gameplay principle but surely if we had more time i guess the game could got much father. I focuses much or less on game feel and game play.
The only balanced i done was have two +1sec instead of one and it feel challenging but not impossible but surely there is work to do to balance.

Losing  not resetting was a choice : i wanted people to play but with no stress even if the losing music is kind of stressing out :)
I didn't want people to stop control the (bubble, circle, ball)

The question is around how much second the average people record is to get more info to how balance this game :)

arcade style move the circle shoot and collect. crank to restart too- nice! background changes too.  would like to see a visual theme develop here maybe add human/insect/animal just personal choice. fun.

I was not so inspired for creating a dedicated world so i kept it simple (some very simple game with only form can work well) had some inspiration of agar.io online game where the circle rule a battle-royal battlefield.
Here my idea was more of a time up stress but stress less arcade game. I had good fun to dev it !
