Great game but i cant crash it
Thank you! To crash it though you need to try doing as much as possible, just opening all the apps may not be enough, you can do other stuff like move windows around, type in a notepad, or play some of the games or anything else like that, It takes a bit to learn how but then it gets really easy and you can literally do it in under 7 seconds lol
Pretty good. Don't know how I crashed it honestly but brickbreaker was pretty fun on its own lol
Yeah, the brickbreaker game has a known bug that causes the game to crash for no reason, that’s how the 4 second run is possible on the leaderboard, I will work on fixing that bug asap. Thanks for playing either way, I’m glad you liked the game!
The leaderboard is hard to read but it still looks nice and the game was a bit confusing at first but then I got it. Good Game
Thank you! The leaderboard is pretty hard to read sometimes, I did notice that, especially with numbers like 8 and 0 which look similar, I will probably work on making the UI more readable while keeping that effect somehow lol
I beat the game a few times and still don’t understand what happened xD. It’s quite surprising the amount of OS features you got in a such a short time, and the presentation was amazing too! Very well done
Thanks, I’m not sure what you mean by “don’t understand what happened”? I’m guessing you were playing the Brickbreaker or Snake and closed the tab? Since that’s a known bug that makes the computer overheat and I will fix it asap :D
Cool idea and love the presentation (the screen effect hurt my eyes a bit though).
Thank you! Maybe I should have went a bit easier on that screen effect but I think it’s mostly fine for a pretty short game, and I might change that later i guess :)
nice graphics, just very hard to look at for me!
Thanks! That’s totally understandable, hope you liked the game though :D
Very very nice graphics. And well made UI
Thanks! I’m glad you liked it :D
I really like the aesthetics of the game! 10/10
Ty! Happy to hear you liked it! Your game was great too btw :D
its cool but whats the passwordddddd
shhhhhh….
Holy, this is such a cool entry!! I have no idea how you did all that in a such time. The gameplay is very fun, it takes some thinking and trying stuff to find how to crash on the first time and then it's just trying to do it as fast as possible. The artstyle is also amazing, so if you did it by yourself well congrats because it feels pretty polished and really nice. Honestly love the game even outside of the jam scope, a really fun small experience!
(i'm happy with my sub 25sec but 4 seconds??? how???)
Thanks! I did make this one alone but it’s like 90% post processing anyway! Btw, the 4 second run was using a known bug that I’m planning to fix if i update the game after the jam
Oooh okay I see, i get it now lol. And good job again on the post processing then!
Love the game! Exploring and trying to find what causes the computer to heat up feels very engaging, felt like a it guy trying different things lol. The art is amazing as well, very concise, sometimes the screen blinking feels a bit rough on the eye but it fits with the whole aesthethic.
I just want to know who is guest4995 and how did he score 4 seconds?!?!
Thanks! But yeah, who is guest4995 lol
Brickbreaker Tech OP! this game is so cool!!!!! LOVE the visuals the sound design is GREAT and it fits the theme REALLY WELL!!! good job!
Tysm! I’m really glad you liked the game, and I’ll eventually get around to fixing those bugs too :D
So aesthetic.
thanks!
Cool little time killer, though it does seem alot of random range rather than much affecting the temp could just be me though.
To edit, did use multiple apps, updated software, ran wifi filled notepad and moved windows only exceeded the max temp once when i had not set the name
I’m happy to hear you liked the game. I’m not exactly sure what you mean but everything that you do in the game will change the temperature by a fixed amount and it will fluctuate a degree or two from that point, also your score is saved even without a name or anything, you can set the name now and it will be added to the leaderboard unless you manually reset the data :)
i love the aesthetic so much!! great stuff
Ty! I’m glad you like it. Your game was amazing too!
The vibes and the sound design are addictive. This is a really cool game and I can't believe you made this in so little time
Tysm, I’m glad people like the game :D
Your game looks amazing! i didn't really know what to do so i opened lots of tabs and my irl computer started overheating. very good game (fr tho good job)
Ty! You do need to open lots of tabs to beat the game though, and everything else you can possibly do. Literally everything that is interactable will change the temperature in some way at least a little.
I cant express how shocked i am with your time management 😭
even though i couldn’t beat the game (my bad) i still saw how much effort you put into this. And let me tell you for THREE DAYS thats a whole BUNCH of effort!
you did amazing! And i cant imagine what type of games you can make if give you more time
i wish you the best on your path of gamedev. Im sure you’ll do great!
Thank you! Is “Time Management” a new word for sleep deprivation or something? Btw you need to use multiple apps to beat the game, and not only that, but smaller things like moving the windows or typing into a notepad can increase the temperature as well :D
YOU ARE INSANE! 😭😭😭
Please try to get a good rest from now on 💀🙏
great post processing, am gonna be use that notes app lol, overall great game
Thank you for playing the game :D
so much style, from menus to minigames, keeping everything within a cohesive art direction
the CRL/phosphorus monitor could be a tiny bit milder here and there to make it a bit easier on the eyes
but it looks amazing
Thank you! Glad you liked the game.
