Group 7:
Overall, the style of the game is good. One thing we did not like was that you couldn't move and jump at the same time. Also, what did the "power up" do, exactly? The description mentions a power up but we didn't see anything happening. We would suggest giving the character the ability to move and jump at the same time. Also, be more clear on exactly what the power up does. We've noticed that there was nothing stopping us from falling off the map so maybe fix that too
G1: The game looks great and the style is cool, but the movement is wonky. In order to jump, you can't be walking.
Group 5:
Alex - I like the game! The background and gloomy feel of map is really neat and the tileset goes well with the background. One thing I would change is to add a border to not all the character to fall off the map and maybe implement a way to jump while in the process of moving. I'm also not quite sure what the potions do.
Cory - I agree with Alex, the ability to jump while moving would make the game feel smoother. Love the lighting effects around the pickups and character. Overall, the style of the game is really well done.

G6: I didn't like how you can't move while jumping, but I like the art and sound effects. The music is pretty good too. However, I felt like the movement was way too slow, and I'm not sure what the powerups are supposed to do.
Group 4: Jump sound effect is a bit out of place for the otherwise dark atmosphere. Very cool atmosphere and theme.
Group 2:
I don't like not being able to jump and move-- it makes movement a tad tedious. I also think a sound effect on jump would be better if you replaced it with a sound effect on landing. It's a bit too cartoonish for the aesthetic. Speaking of which, I like the aesthetic-- it's kind of a horror-like platformer with what looks like an originally-made background and hyper-realistic hearts. I could see such an aesthetic existing in a real game, and it's a cool combination. Overall, pretty good
Not being able to jump and move was painful. Liked the environment feel with the music/sound effects/lighting.
Very spooky soundtrack, nice aura around the game
Liked the powerups and the level design
My suggestion is to make it possible to jump while walking
Also, most but not all of the trees have hitboxes, which leads to ambiguity, and I can also get softlocked at the botttom of the map
