I like that there are simple shapes as assets, I still can recognize what I can take and what's not. There are a lot of nice details like when catching fish it gets transparent instead of disappearing; score text animation, etc. I didn't notice it myself, but from screenshots, I also see that the weather changes👀Additional points for you for making a saving system👏 I think I would add some goals to the game, like buying yourself a bigger ship or something like that.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm quite rich

This is a great and very relaxing decompression game! The music, the simple graphics and gameplay, all give a very relaxing and soothing feeling. Good work!

Hi! I played your game on stream on the Pygame Community Youtube channel. If you weren't in the stream, and wanted to check out my playthrough and opinions, there are timestamps in the description. Apologies for any audio cutting issues.

Peaceful music, nice assetless game.

Nice game! I enjoyed the relaxing music made for a nice atmosphere. However I also agree with the general sentiment that the game needed some more content. Other than that, good job!

This game somehow reminded me of gold miner flash game. The change in color of the ocean and sky is very well realized. The gameplay combined with the music makes for a really relaxing experience. It's a pity you didn't had the time to add a goals :/

I agree with AndreyVarvar that this game need some kind of task(s).

While this game fits theme/challenge category perfectly, i cannot say the same about other categories. It is very simple, but i did not find the gameplay interesting. Just a simple "upgrade shop" would've made it more interesting, and adding some goal, like "reach $5000" would have given the gameplay some goal (if there is an ending, then i did not reach it lol). Still, the idea of different shapes being different fish types is a very interesting idea.

Thanks for your advice. I might improve the game after the game jam.
