Lol i'm also stuck on the 7th level (I will beat once I it once i get back to my desktop with a mouse), but I really like the level design with the blue and red walls in combination with the various levels. Aswell as the super fun abilities (i luv the bit spawning ability it reminds me of diep.io). Lastly I think you should have to kill the bits that are spawned from firecrackers first before another wave spawn, whenever you kill a last enemy that's a firecracker it automatically starts the next wave regardless if there are still bits from the firecracker.

Developer

Hello! Yep, I also noticed how similar it felt to diep.io after making them. My first plan was to make them attack the nearest enemy but I decided to change that up since it would be more tedious to code and it's probably more fun to have them follow your mouse.

Also fun fact, the firewalls actually do have a limit. They will skip their wave if there are 24 or more red bits. The player also doesn't spawn more than 8, but that got irrelevant when I gave the blue bits lifespans.

I'm glad your a fellow diep.io enjoyer! Also by "next wave" I didn't mean the next wave of bits a firecracker would spawn, but rather if the bits they spawned are still on the field it should not spawn the next wave of new enemies like firecrackers, those teleport men, etc.

Developer

Ah right. Those are scripted! Some of the waves spawn when you reach a certain amount of kills in a level while the others trigger when you enter an area.

Wow! I still can't get past the 7th level, but I am super impressed by the mechanics. The warping and bit spawning abilities are so much fun.

I am sure you'll enjoy the final level if you like it so far :)

Nice, polished game, really nice effort! Keep up the good work.

I can already tell the game is a banger by the 1st level alone, but it's not letting me past the 1st lvl on either version

Hello! The downloadable has been  updated, you can play it now. I still advise you to not skip any levels though. Make sure to leave feedback if possible!

Unfortunately, now the buttons for each level aren't working for the downloadable version, it won't let me access levels at all.

Godot seems to have been giving an error with deleted files. I updated the downloadable (again), if this doesn't work as well then I sadly have no idea to fix the problem.

Edit: Browser version also has been updated!

I'm having the same issue as Flavore with the downloadable export (i.e. all levels appear unlocked, but none are playable). I did enjoy the first level and the fast paced challenges on the browser. I'll check back before rating ends to see if you've reuploaded.

Hello! The game has been updated again, you can retry if you wish.

Is there just one level or something is wrong with the web version of the game?

Developer(+1)

There might be something wrong with the save system. I haven't done any save systems before, this was my first go and there's quite the chance that there might be a bug with the web version.

Totally relate with the school stress, you're not alone 😅

Like the map system and simple art style, good game!
